  We picked this company to replace our siding, gutters, roof and wrap the fascias. Starting off with the roofing crew tried to cut corners & attempted to use already use ice&water that they tried to remove plastic &wood chips stuck on the adhesive side, until i said something. The the first siding crew didn't tape anything & just left, until i complained & they sent out 1 person to tape the wall covering. Franklin & Yuli at this point are the only 2 good workers for this project, siding installed looks good. The roofers are supposed to come back to replace white drip edge with black because i have black wrapping which details should've been corrected before the roof was installed and because the crew that installed the wrap nailed through the drip edge damaging it. This project is on its 3rd week and I'm still waiting on the drip edge replacement so the gutters can be installed. Their communication skills from their project managers to the crew is sad and so far I have had to take 3 days off from work, with no telling how many more. This company has successfully made me hate my house!!!!

  RESPOND TO YOUR CUSTOMER, SEND SOMEONE TO INSPECT THE ROOF, AND ADDRESS THE PROBLEM. If the company believes the damage is not covered under the warranty, then have the professionalism to inspect it and explain that decision. Ignoring the customer is NOT an acceptable way to handle a warranty concern. A company should be judged not only by how well it sells its services, but by how it treats customers AFTER it has received their money. Unfortunately, my experience after the sale has been extremely disappointing. I trusted Home Genius with my home and my money. Now I am left chasing them for answers about a roof they installed only about a year ago. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to formally document my experience and my concerns regarding the lack of follow-through and communication surrounding my warranty issue. I am also sharing this review to warn other homeowners: DO YOUR RESEARCH. DO NOT BASE YOUR DECISION SOLELY ON HOW PROFESSIONAL AND RESPONSIVE A COMPANY SEEMS BEFORE YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT. Find out how they handle customers when something goes wrong AFTER the job is completed. Because in my experience, Home Genius has been extremely responsive when they wanted my business and extremely difficult to reach when I needed them to stand behind their work. This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I expected better from a company trusted to replace someone's roof. Home Genius — I paid you to replace my roof. I should not have to spend weeks chasing you just to get someone to acknowledge a problem. Pick up the phone, inspect the roof, address the issue, and stand behind the warranty you promised. I would not recommend this company based on my experience with their post-installation customer service and warranty follow-through.

  My father woke up to water stains on his ceiling and immediately began contacting roofing companies for estimates. Within minutes of submitting his information online to Home Genius Exteriors, he received a call from a woman who was pleasant, attentive, and never made him feel rushed. It was refreshing to speak with a human rather than AI or an automated system, especially when dealing with an unexpected problem at home. An appointment was scheduled within 24 hours, setting the stage for what came next. Then we met William Flores. William arrived with a warm demeanor and a big smile, almost as if he were visiting people he had known for years rather than meeting my parents for the first time. He immediately made them feel comfortable. William listened carefully, answered every question and concern, explained their options clearly, and gave them the space to make their own decision. His approach remained the same throughout the visit. There was no rehearsed sales pitch, no pressure, and no attempt to sell my parents anything they did not need. He focused on what was necessary and worked with them to find an option within their budget. Watching William work made an impression on me professionally as well. As a Realtor, I could have recommended several roofing companies myself, but instead, I stood back and watched. After nearly 30 years in sales and customer service, I have encountered just about every approach imaginable. William could give a clinic on how exceptional customer service leads to a sale. He listened, connected, guided, and earned my parents' confidence without ever resorting to a hard sell. My father's reaction reinforced everything I had observed. Before William even finished the roof inspection, Dad was already canceling the other estimates scheduled for the day. His decision had been made before the appointment was even over. What began as a stressful morning ended with my parents feeling relieved and confident in their decision to choose Home Genius Exteriors. William, thank you for the kindness, respect, and genuine care you showed my parents. You are now familia, so please don't be a stranger! Knowing they were treated with such patience, and consideration means more to me than words can express. Five stars without hesitation.

  Two representatives came to my house at 7:15 Sunday evening for what I thought would be an inspection of my attic/roof and they'd provide me with an estimate to repair or replace the roof. They spent almost an hour and a half trying to convince me that my roof needed to be replaced immediately to the tune of $18,000. I told them 30 minutes into this discussion that I was not committing to anything that night. I repeated this multiple times! They then lowered the price by just under $3000, mind you the lowered price was only good for the time they were in my house--I still said I wasn't committing to anything. They finally agreed to leave me with information to review; then called their manager who wanted to speak to me. I repeated the same thing to him and he replied condensendingly, "so this isn't important to you then." I would NEVER use this company just on their strong arm tactics alone. I've since had another company come out and give me an estimate that was $7,000 lower than their quote.

  We had our entire roof redone. We have solar panels, we were advised the project would include removing solar panels, when roof complete, reinstalling the solar panels. Plus they agreed to redo a portion of our living room ceiling. The panels were removed on Wednesday, Aug. 19th, 2026 - the roof completed on Thursday Aug. 20th, 2026. Today is Aug. 24th, 2026 and the solar panels have not been reinstalled. I have left 1 message by phone call, 1 message by text to the project manager and I believe Marc Bidic was a supervisor who I just left a text message to have our contract completed. I am hoping to hear something, but it is almost 4 pm and have doubts. The workers were great for the roofing, removing solar panels and we finally got the solar panels reinstalled on Wednesday, Aug. 26th, 2026. Solar is working. I feel bettet about the job, but individuals who are in charge need to pay attention to the work. I never saw a project manager until Fred visited us asking why I gave a low review. Money is tight for everyone, but to state step by step and me having to contact different individuals seems I only got attention when I submitted a poor review. The individuals who did the work are excellent and we just got our living room corner spackled and the two young men knew exactly how to handle the plaster and made it smooth so me and my mom can paint our ceiling. I hope management takes this job serious, cause to me there is not reason a week went by and we had low solar panels power.
