  As a Realtor, I'm very careful about the contractors I refer to my clients because their service and reputation reflect on me as well. I’ve referred Ken Seidelman and MD Waterproofing to many clients and have always been impressed with their knowledge, honesty, and professionalism. Most recently, MD Waterproofing completed a project for one of our listing clients. The seller had already received an estimate from another local waterproofing company that recommended installing a system along only half of the home’s interior footprint. With more than 30 years of experience, Ken performed a much more thorough evaluation, took the time to explain what he was seeing and why, and determined that the entire footprint needed to be addressed to properly solve the problem. Even with the more comprehensive system, MD Waterproofing’s estimate came in lower than the other company’s proposal. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. The crew arrived on time, completed the work within the promised timeline, communicated throughout the process, and there were no unexpected price increases. They also stand behind their work with an amazing warranty. Experience, honesty, professionalism, and peace of mind—that’s what you get with Ken and MD Waterproofing. I wouldn’t hesitate to continue recommending them to my clients.

  HAd an awesome experince with them . Very professional and economical. Thousands less than other well known Waterproofing companies in the area. I got my property basement in Lanham MD Waterproofed and new Sum pump installed. PLus they come with warranty . Highly Recomended

  I had water seeping up through my concrete basement floor. After talking with several other basement waterproofing companies, I hired MD Waterproofing. Jerimiah impressed me with his knowledge and his quote for the work was less than others. His crew installed a 2nd sump pump and an interior French drain around the interior perimeter of 1/2 of my basement. His crew worked very hard, were professional and great. I highly recommend this company.

The results speak for themselves. The before and after transformations are impressive, and just as important, the process is smooth from start to finish. They’re responsive, easy to work with, and they do what they say they’re going to do. Pricing is fair, especially for the quality of work they put out. That combination is hard to find. One thing that really sets them apart is their ability to FHA and VA certify their work, which is a big deal in a lot of transactions. And in certain situations, they can even complete the work and get paid at settlement, which can be a huge advantage when you’re trying to get a deal across the finish line. I’ve worked directly with Ken, and he’s been consistently helpful, solution oriented, and reliable. If you’re thinking about getting work done, whether you’re preparing to sell or just want it done right the first time, these are your guys.

  I recently had several issues addressed at a home we were in the process of selling. I had a drain and new sump pump installed in a basement storage room b/c water was seeping in through the foundation, a support beam repaired, a foundation crack repaired and a crawl space lined with an additional sump pump installed due to water coming in. The quality of the work was top notch , the work was reasonably priced and the customer service is great. I highly recommend MD Waterproofing.
