Since we were without hot water at home, I reached out to Mallick, and I really appreciated how quickly they accommodated my request. William came out and promptly contacted A.O. Smith technical support to troubleshoot the issue, which cost around $350. He went through the complete troubleshooting process, cleaned the coil, and was able to clear the error code. The water heater started working again, and I thought the problem was resolved. Unfortunately, just a couple of nights later, the same error returned. This time, I requested that a supervisor also take a look, as I wanted a second set of eyes on the issue. They were able to replace the coil along with another component. Since my water heater was out of warranty, the repairs ended up being quite expensive. In total, I ended up spending close to $1,350, but thankfully, we finally had hot water again. Overall, I appreciate Mallick Plumbing's responsiveness, professionalism, and willingness to accommodate an urgent request. William was helpful throughout the process. However, I was disappointed that the initial fix didn't last and that it required a second visit and additional expense to fully resolve the issue.
