  Flawless professionalism and responsiveness from this company from beginning to end - the service intake professional, the appointment reminders and updates, and the technician. Technician Yi was professional, proficient, and amiable. In one afternoon, he fixed a gas fireplace that apparently had not been working for seven years and made it operate and look as good as new for a very reasonable price. I spoke with and received quotes from well-known companies. I’m very glad I went with James A Wheat and sons. Service could not have been better.

  We were highly pleased with the service that we received from James A. Wheat and Sons. They were able to diagnose and fix a very complicated situation that we had with our gas fireplace. They were respectful, on time, and able to explain the repairs to us. The technician was incredibly knowledgeable about gas fireplaces. Their prices were extremely fair. This might be totally unrelated but they were also very friendly to our curious dogs! I will not hesitate to use them again to fix and service our gas fireplace in the future.

  I had persistent error codes with my 2-year-old Rheem heat pump water heater. Online support after about 6 interactions, finally indicated an evaporator thermistor issue. However, the replacement part was out of stock. When the part finally arrived a month later, I called James Wheat to install it because I was worn out after interacting with Rheem. Ricardo and Steven from James Wheat installed the part and worked with online support to clear up the other issues, since the parts were still under warranty. I could tell both technicians were highly skilled, used technology to document their work, and interacted professionally with the customer. They stayed highly organized in managing the customer experience from scheduling through service delivery. Two final thoughts think twice before getting a Rheem heat pump water heater even though there is a 10 year parts warranty, but only a 1 year labor If it needs service consider James Wheat for their competency as they warranty the labor for one year

  We have the highest regard for the James A Wheat & Sons Technical staffing. ILya Gurevich was scheduled to clean and inspect a gas log & burner fire place system in our home. He was on time. Ilya, took time to set-up drop clothes to help keep our home clean during his service. While he had the logs and burner out of fire place he came across several issues that needed addressing. The main issue was with the gas input unit and rusting on burner parts. One of the logs needed repairing. To make a long story short. My wife and I decided replace the logs & gas burner. The cost of doing temporary fixes out way cost of replacement. Ilya went to work, checking on new equipment and gas pipe for relocating gas line entering the fire box from the outside of the house. He also called and set up a required chime cleaning & Inspection and a Montgomery county gas inspection. As anyone knows, scheduling can be complicated. He cleaned up completely before he left for the day. Ilya returned on the date we had picked installing our new heating, with a helper for installing the gas line. He really took charge of his job and we felt totally confident in skills and work ethics. "Great job by all" PS: We had Installed Oak log set and 24 inch burner.

  This is a review of the service Caleb Senger and Ethan provided this last week. We had two new Carrier HVAC/AC heat pump systems installed. The work was done professionally, in time and no problems occurred. This type of work requires the technicians to be walking and working throughout the home. Caleb and Ethan were always respectful, clean and careful around our personal affairs and artwork and demonstrating knowledge of their craft. Caleb as the lead technician on this job was excellent in his communication with us, answering my 100 and 1 questions, seeking my input when needed, managing and getting the work done in time, and keeping us informed at every step of the job. Caleb as a young technician and demonstrates impressive qualities as a leader. Recently we had Eagle Agreement maintenance of our old system my wife and I were impressed those technicians were knowledgeable, skilled and respectful. Caleb and Ethan as well, as young skilled technicians demonstrated those traits superbly. We did not have as much direct communication with Ethan, it was obvious he was a hard worker and was critical to the successful work of the team. Well done !!
