  We were very happy and pleased with our experience with James A. Wheat & Sons. Matt and Reese were super plumbing technicians. They were professional, knowledgeable and efficient. We had three separate plumbing issues, and they provided several options for how to address each issue that included cost and time projections. Their workmanship was terrific, and all of it was completed on the same day. Moreover, they were very pleasant and easy to work with. We were very impressed with them, and we recommend them highly without reservation. 5-stars!

  Caleb and his team did an outstanding job on our HVAC install. From start to finish, they were professional, punctual, and kept us informed at every step of the process. It’s rare to find a crew that communicates so clearly and treats your home with this much care.   The job was originally scheduled to take two days. One of the parts to be installed was the wrong part so we needed to reschedule the second day for the following week. The installers were very polite and seemed quite competent and professional, and the systems that they put in seem to be working quite well. However, the installers wanted us to sign documents At the end of the first day, saying that the job was complete and done to our satisfaction and pay all but a small amount, even though the contract said payment was due at the end of the job being complete. I gave feedback to the manager who apologized for their eagerness to get paid early. I told the manager it felt like dirty pool for them to try to renegotiate a contract midway through like that, especially when clearly the job was not done yet. I sincerely hope that they end this practice with others as it negates the whole point of having a contract. The classy thing to do would’ve been to ask for Payment when the job was done, as stipulated in the contract.

  Wheat & Sons just recently replaced our two HVAC systems (we have a condo) and we had a very good experience. The price was lower than other firms, and there was a full discussion of the proposal with Michael Wheat before we made our decision. Garret and Ethan finished the work in the time window we were promised, and we appreciated the measures they took to protect our furnishings while they worked. Another thing we appreciated was the fact that the company applied for all the discounts and rebates on our behalf, which was not the case with the other proposers. We would definitely recommend Wheat & Sons to other people based on our experience.

  We recently had a complete HVAC system installed by James A. Wheat & Sons, and we couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The project included a new Carrier Infinity 80,000 BTU Furnace, 3-ton heat pump, evaporator coil, air filter, thermostat, whole-house humidifier, and some new ductwork. The team also removed our old system and hauled everything away, making the transition completely hassle-free. From the initial consultation through the final inspection, everyone we worked with was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They handled all permits, rebates, scheduled the required inspections, and kept us informed throughout the process. The installation took two days, with the majority of the work completed on the first day, which minimized disruption to our household. The installers, Garrett and Rafael, were punctual, organized, and respectful of our home. They paid attention to details, answered our questions, and left the work areas clean when they finished. We did encounter two very minor issues after the installation, but both were addressed immediately and resolved to our complete satisfaction. Their responsiveness and commitment to customer service reinforced our confidence that we had chosen the right company. Our new system is performing exceptionally well, and we've already noticed improved comfort throughout the house. The quality of the workmanship and the professionalism of the entire team were outstanding. We highly recommend James A. Wheat & Sons to anyone considering HVAC work. They made what could have been a complicated project feel straightforward and stress-free, and the results have been excellent.
