  I called several AC contractors in the area, including one recommended by our general contractor, but learned the hard way that with AC/furnace work, higher price usually means higher quality — and that’s exactly what we got from this company. We had a persistent problem: the blower motor/AC return vent was extremely loud, made worse by how little space there was between our townhouse and the shed housing the furnace/blower. Other contractors offered fixes that cost us money without solving the actual issue — the noise. This technician finally solved it, and his solution also helped with the high humidity problem we had.

  I had an exceptional experience with GAC from start to finish. I called at 7:00 a.m. on a holiday hoping to schedule a last-minute service appointment, and within just a few hours, our problem was completely resolved. What impressed me most was Lawrence’s honesty and generosity. Rather than immediately scheduling a paid service call, he took the time to ask thoughtful questions to determine whether the issue might be something simple that I could check myself. He then stayed on the phone with me for well over 40 minutes, patiently walking me through different possibilities until we identified the problem. Our well pump had stopped working, leaving us without water for nearly two days. Thanks to Lawrence’s expertise, we discovered it was simply a tripped breaker. He guided me through fixing it myself, restoring our water without ever needing to send someone out—and without charging us a single dollar. That level of integrity is incredibly rare. Many companies would have gladly billed us for a service visit, but GAC chose to do what was right for the customer instead. From the seamless scheduling process to Lawrence’s professionalism, knowledge, patience, and genuine kindness, every interaction exceeded my expectations. This was my first experience with GAC, but it certainly won’t be my last. They’ve earned my trust, and they’ll be my first call for any future home maintenance or electrical needs. Thank you, Lawrence, for your outstanding service and for treating us with such honesty and care. Companies like GAC deserve to be recognized.

  Chun from GAC Services responded to my service request. My thermostat was showing an error message that my air conditioning blower motor was overheating. A different vendor the previous day told me I needed a new AC Unit at over $11,000 or preferably a whole new HVAC system at $18,500! Chun performed a thorough inspection, and cleaned the inside and outside coils, opened vents, and changed the main capacitor. That has fixed the problem so far. He advised using different air filters, and that if I get another error message, I just need to change the motor at a very reasonable cost. I signed up for the GAC semi-annual maintenance program. I paid only a fraction of what I expected. Chun was very patient and explained many things to me and showed me his findings inside my AC unit. He left a complete set of pictures with the invoice on my email. It was an easy decision to give a 5-star rating to Chun from GAC Services.

  GAC replaced an HVAC part for me last year and in my annual inspection claimed it needed to be replaced again. Why would you install a part with a lifetime warranty that you have to replace the following year? They still charged me for labor. Also, when I said it was replaced last year, the tech mansplained to me that it was “over a year ago” - he’s correct, it was roughly 14 months ago but still 2025. Was that really necessary? This smacks of scam and price gouging and I’m seriously reconsidering my GAC membership.

  This is a company that's obviously trying to replace as many people as it can with robots and probably underpaying all the people doing the actual work awhile setting them up for failure. I wish I could post the almost five hours of chat history I have with an AI bot to try to figure out when the service tech was going to arrive after he was an hour late. I was told at least 20 times that I would get a call from a person within a minute to sort things out but the call never came. Overall I spent more than three hours in the phone queue (also promised a call back there after "pressing one"...another several calls that never came. TLDR $450 members price to snake a drain. (15 total minutes on site from the time the truck pulled into my driveway until it left) More than an hour late with no call and no explanation $50 discount toward future service for my trouble.
