Mel was an incredibly knowledgeable and efficient tech. We were having issues with our AC unit not cooling the house. He came within the window GAC said that he would, got right to business and was able to diagnose our issue and resolve it pretty quickly. He stayed to run some tests to make sure all really was working as it should. He explained everything to a tee of what was wrong, what needed fixing, how to maintain our unit, what to watch out for and just general future outlook. Mel was incredible and I am grateful he was able to fix the issue so quickly especially in this heat.

AC went down on Monday afternoon so I called GAC and talked to their AI Assistant who put me on emergency priority service (I pay extra yearly for priority) and they said someone would be out between 3-5pm. I left work early, cancelled meetings and rearranged day care pick up so I’d be home. No one showed, no one called. Now having a 10 month old at home and his nursery is 90 degrees, my wife and I had to pack things up and sleep over the in laws. Could not reach a real human being at GAC for hours (even though they claim to be 24/7) and when I finally did they said they would prioritize me the next morning at 8 AM first stop. It’s 9:02am and I called again at 8:20, waiting 40 minutes on hold and finally got through to someone who said the tech would be here after his first stop. I’ve now had to rearrange my work day again and still have little confidence someone will show up.

A lot of these reviews they ask customers to do as soon as they finish their work when in reality you should wait until to see if they did the work well and if it lasts. Consistency between repairmen and consultants vary in behavior and quality of service. Different people will come each day and new problems popping up. Makes you wonder if a professional actually looked at your devices/systems thoroughly the first time or a newbie. I understand that things can “pop-up” in repair but it feels inaccurate when a new problem pops up everyday of the week for a relatively small area of service. Also frustrating when the county come to check your systems and they tell you that the repair wasn’t done correctly over and over with people coming back to “fix” things that never seem to be fixed when the county/state comes for inspection. My advice is do a thorough analysis even if it takes longer and keep the same repairmen to keep things consistent, new people don’t have to relearn the situation of the client. Will not be using this company again

My internet went out due to a circuit breaker that went bad, the one that the internet line is connected to.Edwin Sanchez was able to come to my home the same day I called. He completely checked the panel. The breaker had tripped because the outlet that the internet went into went bad. The outlet (now a GFI outlet) and the breaker were bother replaced. We discussed installing a surge surpressor on the panel, which he was able to do that day. He is so pleasant and was easy to work with. Thank you, Edwin.

We have paid the annual GAC fee to have them check on our system on a regular basis for 5 years. We had great experiences early on but some issues in the last 1-2 years. We recently had an issue with our heat not blowing hot air, they did send someone out quickly on a Sunday which was great but they told us that we had a heat pump and that our system was broken, we'd need a new one. We decided to get quotes from two other providers who both came out and said that we do not have a heat pump system and it was an issue with the thermostat settings. They both thought our system has another few years left on it. Very frustrating that the GAC technician wasn't able to identify the type of system we had and was quick to just say "get a new one" when that is thousands of dollars. In the end, another company pressed some buttons on the thermostat and fixed it.
