  We had a very good experience with our hardwood flooring project. The work exceeded our expectations, and we’re very happy with how the floors turned out. The price was reasonable, and the project was completed on time. Overall, we’re very pleased with the quality of the work and would definitely recommend them.

  Ryan from Friends & Family Flooring was amazing! We needed our entire basement carpeted, and he showed us samples, explained all the differences between each and even made us a personalized comparison/estimate sheet based on our measurements so we had time to decide which one to go with. We had already gotten an estimate from a large carpet company but they wouldn't give us anything in writing and the pricing was much higher. Ryan responded quickly and answered all of our questions and their office worked with our schedule because we needed it done right away. He even called the next day (on a Saturday) to make sure we were happy!! I highly recommend Friends & Family - great customer service and we are so happy with the final product!!

  My daughter recently purchased an older house in Howard County. I decided to replace the old worn out carpets an laminates with all new floors as a house warming gift. Since she was relocating from North Carolina and would not begin occupying the house for a few weeks, I hoped to complete the hardwood and tile floors before she arrived. It was then that I came across Friends and Family Flooring in nearby Maple Lawn. What caught my eye was the uniformly positive reviews they had from scores of customers. I contacted them and explained my time crunch. The owner agreed to meet with me that day at the house. He took laser measurements of the relevant areas, suggested wood and tile options, pointed out the aesthetic and practical pros and cons of the various options and, by that evening, presented me with pricing. I accepted his proposal and, true to his commitment to meet my time requirement, he delivered the materials and work began within two days. The job was completed well within our cost and time budget. I (and my daughter) could not be more pleased with the quality of the materials, installation and management of the job. I would unreservedly recommend Friends and Family to my friends and family.

  We are so incredibly happy with our floors. We had LVP floors installed over all of our hardwoods, and added to the bedrooms where there was carpet. We also had our wood stairs stained to match, and a runner installed on the stairs. They did such a great job matching the stain to the floors. From beginning to end the process was so easy. Tommy came soon after we initially called for an estimate and walked us through what would work best. He was very knowledgeable and responsive through the whole process. We love the LVP he recommended and the runner. Every crew that came was on time, respectful, and so talented. They were meticulous and took pride in their work. There was some carpet leftover from the runner, so Tony made a custom area rug with it. Such a pleasant surprise. We truly couldn’t be happier. We have been recommending Friends and Family to everyone we talk to. Truly the best!

  I recently had 4 projects done with Friends & Family Flooring and I’m thrilled with all 4! I had LVP put in 2 bathrooms (one previously had hardwood which I hate in bathrooms, and the other had hard-to-clean tile). They look so much better! Smooth clean look, lightened up feel, easy to clean, perfect! Then I had my basement’s old Berber carpet ripped up and replaced with beautiful wood-look wide-plank LVP. Wow what a difference! It’s so much lighter looking/feeling, so much cleaner, so easy to sweep. I LOVE it! And lastly I had the same old Berber ripped off my basement stairs and replaced with new smooth modern carpet. Huge upgrade. Besides loving the results, I’m also super happy with the experience. The owner Tommy came out to look at my projects. He gave me lots of options to choose from, with samples, and he gave me guidance when I asked. He wrote me a few estimates for different options. I found all of the quotes to be quite fair & reasonable. Tommy was easy to communicate with while we were working out the plan. On the day of the project, the guys came promptly, parked where I asked them to, and worked hard to get all 4 projects done in one day. They were pleasant, friendly, hard-working, skilled, and SUPER clean. They didn’t leave even a speck of mess anywhere. 10/10 -definitely recommend and I absolutely will use again.
