  We couldn’t recommend this company enough! Purcell was absolutely incredible from start to finish. He came out on a Sunday to take a look at our water heater and discuss a replacement, and was back out Thursday to complete the swap. He was professional, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable, especially considering the install was difficult due to the tight space in our condo. The work was done quickly and efficiently, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Thank you, Purcell, for making a stressful situation so easy! Highly recommend!

  I’m very happy with my experience with SM Mechanical and would definitely recommend them. Bob L was quickly able to identify the source of my issue and provide recommendations which gave me a clear direction on what needed to be done. The project ultimately included a new heat pump hybrid water heater, replacement of two bathroom fans, and attic insulation and air-sealing work. Purcell and his team handled the water heater installation, and they did a fantastic job. They were professional, knowledgeable, respectful of my home, and cleaned everything up when they were finished. The two other crews who handled the bathroom fan installation and attic insulation/air-sealing work were also professional and courteous. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with both the work and the customer service I received. Bob was knowledgeable and genuinely helpful from the very beginning, and everyone involved in the project was professional and respectful. I would absolutely use SM Mechanical again for future work and would recommend them to others.

  SM Mechanical has taken care of a variety of issues for us, including furnace, hot water heater, and garbage disposal. Every employee has been very professional, communicates well, and shows up when they say they will. Their prices are reasonable and they don't try to upsell more than you need.

  I highly recommend SM Mechanical to everyone! I had a heat pump installed I can’t say enough about how professional, reliable, and exceptional their service is. Every person I’ve had the pleasure of working with has been incredibly helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. From start to finish, the entire experience has been outstanding. It’s clear that they truly care about their customers and take pride in what they do. I’m extremely impressed and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

  We heard about SM Mechanical from our contractor who was doing work on our house and suggested we contact them to do the BGE Energy Audit. It was the best piece of advice we have ever received. Daniel performed the energy audit and gave us a detailed report and let us know that we qualified for the max $15,000 in rebates. We were able to get a brand new HVAC system, thermostat and attic insulation plus things I know I am forgetting and we also had our oil tank removed from our basement. The out of pocket cost to us for all of this was less than $10,000 after the rebates!! Everyone we dealt with from start to finish was extremely professional and very friendly--they treated you more like you were family rather than just another customer. They took care of all the paperwork for the rebate which came a lot quicker then I expected. I highly recommend this company!!
