I had a very difficult experience with Beazer Homes involving a new-construction purchase, financing issues, and a disputed $50,000 deposit. The matter went to arbitration, and after the case closed, Beazer returned my deposit. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that buyers have an independent attorney review Beazer’s purchase agreement, financing-contingency terms, deposit provisions, preferred-lender process, HOA-document deadlines, and arbitration clause before signing. I personally would not choose to do business with them again.
