  The water softener installation went well once the initial misunderstandings between sales and installation were resolved. My only complaint is that the appointment was rescheduled without sending the confirmation I asked for, which led to unnecessary confusion.

  UPDATE (07/13/2026): The Vice President, Joe, reached out to me immediately after seeing my review. He listened to my concerns in good faith and officially processed a full $203.00 refund for the RO storage tank. I truly appreciate the prompt, responsible, and excellent customer care from the company's management. They really value their returning customers! --- I want to give 5 stars to our technician, Jake. He was excellent, professional, and did a fantastic job maintaining our system. My 1-star rating is strictly for Carroll Water's greedy corporate policies and unfair pricing. I am uploading my past invoices to prove how ridiculous their pricing has become. First, their corporate pricing structure makes no logical sense. In January 2026, my Softener Service was charged as a $30.00 add-on. Today, for the exact same service, they charged a massive standalone flat fee of $251.90 just because it wasn't bundled with a specific package. A massive price jump like that for the exact same annual maintenance is unacceptable. Second, my February 2023 invoice clearly shows our RO storage tank was replaced under warranty ($0.00). It failed again in just 3 years. I was told that because it was a previous replacement, it carries zero warranty, forcing me to pay $203.00 for another one today. It is completely unreasonable for parts that break this quickly to have no protection. Finally, for loyal customers who perform annual maintenance, the company should offer fixed loyalty discounts or coupons. For an invoice this high (over $919), they absolutely should provide a special discount or a percentage off to appreciate returning clients. Instead, they offer no corporate flexibility. Great technician, but horrible company policies that nickel-and-dime annual return customers. Look at the attached invoices before you hire them.

  This time not really happy with your service process. First they scheduled on Jun1st and nobody showed up nor called to reschedule. I called back after 3 weeks to check and they said we have to reschedule and now service person will come on July2nd. I asked for quote and they said technician will provide at site. When technician came I was not home so he directly gave $900 invoice to my family member. He should have given details of what he is doing and cost for it. We could have option to choose from. Very dissatisfied with they operate lately.
