  We enlisted the help of Bethesda Home Design to add a two story and basement addition to our 1940's home in Wyngate. After living here 23 years, we wanted an upgraded space that retained all of the charm of the home we loved. BHD knocked it out of the park. Our home still feels intimate but also bright, open, and new! Jeff's guidance was the perfect combination of constructive and supportive and he worked closely with us to find creative solutions to working around the quirks of an 80 year home. Chris our project manager was attentive, responsive and was able to propose clever design solutions without upselling. Every crew was professional and clean. Our neighbors even remarked at how relatively quiet and unobtrusive the construction process was over the 10 month process. We initiated the project at the height of supply chain issues and the project was only one month past the initial proposed end date. We've had Jeff and his team back twice since moving back into our home and they will always be our go-to contractor for future projects.

  I've used Bethesda Home Design for two major projects at my home. One was a new kitchen floor and the other was the replacement of every interior door in my house. In each case Jeff Sarris oversaw the work done by a crew led by Nicholas Ayala. The work was always done to perfection on the agreed upon timeline and at the agreed upon price.   Jeff and his team were easy to work with. The crew showed up on time, worked hard, and are great at their trade. We had our sunroom demoed and completely rebuilt to enclose the space and make it part of the house. We have high standards when it comes to the finer details of home renovation projects. They met all those expectations. I would highly recommend Bethesda Home Design.

  We had an excellent experience with Bethesda Home Design and highly recommend them for any home renovation project. They did extensive work in our house, including kitchen remodeling, bathroom renovation and remodeling, refinishing and staining wood floors throughout house, designing and installing mudroom shelving units, installing lighting and ceiling fans, and painting interior rooms and exterior shutters. Customer service was excellent. The team helped design and make selections for the kitchen, bathroom and mudroom. They were very professional and did excellent work. We love the completed projects and will continue to rely on them for any future work.
