Sat in my house from 2-4 pm because they only offer a 2 hour window. At 4:05 I call to get an update and they were like we were gonna call you, can we do 5-7pm? I said absolutely not. They made me prepay for a service and when I asked for a refund, I had to pay an additional fee!!! Stay away… all my military friends!!!

SCAM ALERT!!! Beware of this company. We spoke with Brian, the owner, and paid him $490 to come to our home and inspect and service the 2 fireplaces. He never showed. After repeated calls where he promised to send a refund by check (even though we paid him via Venmo), he has refused to refund us the $490.

I scheduled an inspection on 7/1 for between 12-2 on 7/14. at the time of scheduling, the call taker indicated that i was required to provide a 50% deposit on the inspection fee - i did so, zelling the money to an account that the call taker indicated was "the owner's account." While i thought it was odd - both to require a 50% deposit and to zelle money to a company's owner, I did so, understanding that Bethesda Chimney has a good reputation. no one showed up for the inspection. i have now called at least 10 times and left three messages- no one has responded and no one has answered the phone. I will now be contacting the BBB and Montgomery County licensing board.

I’m not sure if this is a real business or a scam. I called about a chimney cleaning, they were interested in the work, took a modest deposit from me and then cancelled on me twice without notice and never responded despite a few follow up calls and text messages. Be careful with this company, not reliable (and maybe not real)!

Check Reviews. This place is a scam and WILL steal your money without providing services. They push you to pay via Zelle so you cannot have bank return your money. They will never return your call. I filed BBB complaint and am in the process of taking them to district court. BE WARNED! Check reviews 1st
