I highly recommend him and Brian B quick plumbing for all your plumbing needs. They are easy to schedule with and great with communication. James was extremely knowledgeable, professional and definitely the best plumber we’ve contracted. He was friendly, effectively communicated the work order and even gave us great advice about valves, which spoke to his expertise. After speaking/dealing with 10 other plumbers with the area, he was easily the best one. James will be our preferred plumber from her on out!

We called Brian B Quick Plumbing when we discovered an active water leak in our basement. As one can imagine this emergency incident was unanticipated and, we as homeowners, experienced for the first time since moving into this house 38 years ago. We are grateful by the professionalism and consistently excellent customer service that we received from Dan Stewart, Master Plumber, at Brian B Quick Plumbing, LLC. Dan arrived to assess the situation and quickly determined the cause of the leak. It was a break in the external water service line leading into the house whereby the leak was coming from “under the slab.” Dan took immediate remedial action identifying the source of the leak and the location of the curbside water service line cut-off value to stop the water from continuing to enter the house. However, because the cut-off valve was rusted shut likely due to its age (nearly 40 years old) and not having been accessed since the line was installed, he advised us to call WSSC Emergency number to request cut-off of the curbside water service line. After three WSSC attempts, it took a team of 5-6 men and three trucks to open the cut-off valve to shut the water off. Dan described what would be required to install a new water service line and the cost of the work. The replacement work required specialized ground boring equipment to install a new service line under the house foundation. He identified and scheduled the work to be completed by a Brian B. Quick subcontractor (Drain Geeks LLC) given the type of specialized ground boring equipment needed to install a new service line. He provided a reasonable estimate of the job and described the financial options for payment of the external water service line replacement. Dan described several steps we needed to undertake as homeowners to remediate this situation, including contacting our home insurance company to determine what our policy covers related to the water damage. He also explained how a water remediation company works to mitigate water damage and start the drying process, which should be done as soon as possible to avoid further damage. That information was very useful. Dan followed up on the progress we were making throughout the process including communicating with the home insurance adjuster to describe the source of the water leakage which resulted in a determination of a covered loss under our insurance claim.

Called on Tuesday to have plumber technician come on on Saturday to give me an estimate on a tankless water heater and indirect water installation. Was sent an text notification on Friday confirming appointment, I called at 10:30am to ask when tech would arrive and person informed me they run a skeleton crew on the weekend and don’t have anyone knowledgeable to come during that time to provide me with an estimate, wasted my time I should have been told this when I am booked my appointment, I called and booked the appointment as well,

Extremely disappointed with the service I received. I called this company specifically to diagnose a leak, and the plumber who was sent out cut a hole in my ceiling and ultimately told me the issue was related to the HVAC system. Based on that assessment, we pursued the HVAC issue, only to find out that it did not fix the leak. We eventually had another plumber come out, and the actual problem turned out to be a bad hose underneath the sink—something that should have been one of the first areas checked during a basic plumbing inspection. What makes this especially frustrating is that the original plumber never even checked underneath the sink before concluding that the problem was HVAC-related. Because of that incorrect diagnosis, we were sent down the wrong path and spent thousands of dollars unnecessarily trying to fix something that wasn’t causing the leak. When you hire a professional to diagnose a leak, you expect them to thoroughly investigate the obvious plumbing sources before cutting into a ceiling and pointing the finger at another system. A simple inspection under the sink could have identified the actual problem and saved a tremendous amount of time, money, and frustration. Very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this company based on the service I received.

We received service on a failed water shut-off valve following a flood that affected our main floor and basement. After a less-than-satisfactory experience with a previous plumber, Brian B. Quick sent out a technician (Patrick Mullineaux) to take a look at the issue. Patrick was friendly and highly professional. He arrived promptly within the expected window, came prepared with all necessary equipment, and provided thorough explanations before, during, and after the work was completed. He respected our house and time by protecting our personal items, cleaning up his workspace, and working efficiently while giving timeline updates throughout the service. He was also able to look over our other plumbing and inform us about what was no longer up to code in case we wanted to make updates to those elements in the future. Bonus: Patrick was also very friendly with our dog, even when he would occasionally get in the way of his walkway/workspace. His professionalism and friendliness lives up to the Brian B. Plumbing reputation - we will be requesting him for any future plumbing concerns!
