Nicholas Mauller did an excellent job inspecting our HVAC system. He was responsive, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything and answer all of our questions. He even cleaned our very dirty, dog-hair-filled filter that had gone too long without being replaced!
He was incredibly patient and kind with our three dogs, who were all over him during the visit, and even noticed bees around our mailbox and sprayed the area for us. What really stood out was that he didn't rush out as soon as the job was done—he took his time and genuinely cared about helping us. We even ended up chatting about dog training and tick bites! Highly recommend Nicholas for his professionalism, expertise, and kindness.

This company was amazing. Keep in mind that our house was built in 1966 and previous technicians had jimmy rigged the old system for decades. STATON came out quickly when our air conditioning system went kaput, knowing that the weather was about to get REALLY HOT. The technicians were wonderful. They explained everything as they proceeded. They presented all our options to find the best solution for us. They did a great job on installation of a whole new system. They explained everything to us every step of the way, correcting all the jimmy rigging that had stacked up over the decades. It was a huge endeavor for them but they conquered every issue. Finally, they showed us how to operate the new system and best practices for maximum efficiency and a long life of the new system. Additionally the put us on a program where they will come out twice a year to maintain the system. We highly recommend them!!

I recently reached out to Staton for both plumbing and HVAC service.
The plumber came out to replace a simple outdoor hose spigot. The job had full access from both inside and outside, yet the estimate was over $1,500. That’s more than three times the national average I found through my own research.
The following day, an HVAC technician diagnosed my system as being about 3 pounds low on refrigerant and quoted nearly $1,000 just to recharge it. That price did not include locating or repairing the leak. For comparison, a 25-pound cylinder of R-410A can be purchased online by a normal consumer for $290 as of today, so the refrigerant itself works out to roughly $35 total for the amount my system needed.
I’m giving two stars because both technicians arrived promptly, were professional, courteous, and took the time to explain their findings. Unfortunately, I simply can’t justify doing business with a company whose pricing is this far outside what I consider reasonable. Based on my experience, I won’t be using WL Staton again.

Had a broken dual capacitor and needed more refrigerant. Nicholas Malluer quickly helped diagnose and fix the problem. He also gave multiple helpful hints about the HVAC maintenance that I should be doing. I will definitely request Nicholas for future semi annually maintenance, and other HVAC problems.
The next day I had Wes Justice come out to diagnose my hot water heater leaking. Wes quickly diagnosed the problem and recommended a new fiberglass water heater. He removed the previous water heater and installed the new water heater within a few hours. Just like Nicholas, he gave multiple helpful hints about the water heater and maintenance. I will definitely request Wes for my semi annual plumping maintenance and if I ever have future plumping problems.
Both issues were expensive, but fairly priced and they didn’t nickel and dime me for other little immaterial services.
Definitely happy with the service!

Do not use, under any circumstance. I paid $19k for a brand new mid range HVAC system that is now a year old. In that year, Staton came out almost a dozen times for continual issues. Over a month ago they finally agreed to send out a manager. It was found that there was no problem with the unit--they hadn't wired the sensor into the GFCI, or plugged in the condensator pump. They sent contractors out last week, who tore up carpet and drywall to repair. A week later despite multiple calls it remains tore up waiting to be approved for repair. There has been very little communication. I have been calling for a month trying to talk to Brian and Sam, who promise to help and call back, but almost never do. Brian demonstrated almost no interest in the wreck his team has created, and despite repeated messages this week about the emergency need to approve and complete repairs this week I have received nothing but regrets they are in meetings. Nothing left to do but contact the Better Business Bureau. Can't wait for the phony "Give us a call to discuss, we'd love to make it better!" when the literal problem is there is no communication and less follow through. I am not going to continue to call and beg for their attention. This is not petty drama and complaints from some bored woman who who didn't like the color of the unit delivered--I am a single mom who has had to take days off work and be both freezing and sweating throughout the course of a year after paying what to me is a fortune to have a functioning mid range system. All because they didn't do the very basic things that I'm pretty sure are taught not too far after Day 1 in HVAC school. And I have yet to see any evidence they are "sorry I didn't have a positive experience."
Finished and filed complaint online with BBB, will be following up with phone calls. They said once again this morning that everyone is in meetings, which is the same answer I've gotten for weeks. I was told managers would be out of meetings at 12:30 today. I can't put my house on the market (which I desperately need to do), because their contractor tore the basement up and they aren't green lighting repairs. I will continue to update, and will make an effort not to engage in hyperbole by describing actions only. Staton's incompetence and almost complete lack of interest in resolving this continues to remains a constant throughout this nightmare. Please, avoid the disaster of hiring a company that seems to think it's a jack of all trades--this one is the master of none.
