  I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with this company. I called on August 18th to schedule an appointment to install a washing machine shut-off valve. I was quoted $199 over the phone. The technician came on August 20th, did the work, and I was then hit with a $1,099 bill. That is over five times what I was originally told. When I questioned the charge, they told me they had a recording of my phone call showing that I agreed to the $1,099 price. I asked them to send me the recording. They sent me a link, but the link just takes me to a login page. I was never given an account, username, password, or any way to actually access this supposed recording. I’m not sure if the claim about having a recording was an empty threat or if they actually recorded the call but at no point during the phone call I was ever told that my call was being recorded which is illegal in Massachusetts. According to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 272, Section 99, Massachusetts has a strict all-party consent law when it comes to recording private conversations. I was never informed that my call was being recorded, which makes their claim that they have a recording of my conversation especially concerning. Also if they are relying on a recording to justify charging me more than five times the original quote, I believe I should at least be able to access that recording. I also asked to speak with a manager about the situation and was told someone would contact me. Nobody ever did. After reading through other reviews, I’m also concerned that this may not be an isolated experience. I’ve seen other customers mention similar issues with unexpected or significantly higher charges. I would strongly urge anyone considering this company to avoid using them, or at the very least, get the exact price in writing before agreeing to any work. I am extremely dissatisfied with how this situation was handled and hope others can avoid having the same experience.

  Fantastic work by Elliot today quick turnaround on an HVAC unit replacement estimate cannot recommend Aspinwall plumbing enough. 10 out of 10.

  Aspinwall has been my plumbing company for 35 years, at four different locations. They have always been excellent, at out renovated home in Back Bay, my home in Newton, my apartment in Boston, and now my retirement home in Scituate. They are 100% reliable and professional in every way. Last year they replaced my furnace. This week they replaced my air conditioning system. So well done, such friendly workers, always on time, and so much more. They're the best. I never even call anyone else. Carry on!

  The process of ordering and receiving a new motor fan was horrible. For a company your size you should have businesses out there ready with your needs. I’ve seen it done in other businesses. Won the motor finally got there. I think somebody dropped the ball and did not call me. I had to call three days later and get the Appointment scheduled. Kevin I believe his name is. Was wonderful beyond wonderful you’re smart. He was kind he was helpful and just a good person. Don’t let him go.

  Aspinwall was fantastic! It was easy to book appointments with them. For the evaluation of my water heater issue, they sent the plumber, Falcon. He was efficient, professional and very knowledgeable. He was so great that I requested him to do the repairs. The company obliged and within days, he was here with parts he ordered, on time and the same great attitude. A plumbing issue can be stressful but he made it so easy for me! Thank you Falcon and Aspinwall.
