  Our AC system stopped working almost a month ago, and after calling the company that originally installed it, we were told the blower motor had failed and that the repair would cost over $2,500. They even suggested replacing the entire system. Unfortunately (or fortunately for us!) after that, they never followed up or returned any of our calls or messages. After searching online, we came across Family Heating & Cooling. Based on their outstanding reviews, we decided to give them a call, and we're so glad we did! Jacob was fantastic. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, honest, and took the time to diagnose the problem instead of jumping to an expensive repair. Within about five minutes, he identified the actual issue, which wasn't the blower motor at all. He had everything repaired quickly, and before we knew it, our AC was back up and running perfectly. It's refreshing to find a company that values honesty and integrity. We only wish we had called Family Heating & Cooling first. It would have saved us weeks of frustration and potentially thousands of dollars. Thank you, Jacob, for your excellent service! You've earned customers for life, and we'll definitely be calling Family Heating & Cooling for all of our future HVAC needs. Highly recommend!

  I called many companies as I was experiencing leaking from my central a/c unit. None of the companies could offer an appointment before the following week. But this company informed me they had an emergency after hours technician how could come out the same day. The technician's name was Alex and he was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I asked for a business card in order to keep this company and his name on hand should I need hvac or plumbing needs in the future.

  Alex came right out !!!! We had to call him at 530am! He was at the house by 645 and had us up and running by 730. This was the Friday before the 4 th of July during our first heatwave so we knew he wouldn’t be busy. He came fast and was nothing but a Pro! He explained the problem, the soloution, the cost and was in and out. Very professional and clean. He has worked in our home before and we would not hesitate to have him come again. ( hopefully not so early next time )

  I was disappointed with my service. I called and stated I had a unit leaking from the outside and for general maintenance to make sure everything was running OK. While the technician was nice, he cleaned some filters and cleaned the outside unit at the cost of $299. He said he didn’t have a ladder tall enough to address the leaking unit, it was on the 2nd floor and he only had a 6 foot extendable ladder. He called out one unit not being sealed but did not have anything with him to tend to that either. So feel like they did bare minimum at a premium price and didn’t even address the main reason I called for, but of course tried to upsell their yearly enrollment options after already said no thank you when I called for service.

  I needed to replace my central air conditioning unit and i decided to call Family Heating and Cooling after reading the excellent reviews that they had, and i couldn't be happier. After calling i had Dylan Arsenault , HVAC technician, come to my house 2 days after my initial call and he explained everything to me as to what type of unit i needed . I was so pleased with his presentation and i signed a contract to have Family Heating and Cooling do the job. In less than 2 weeks I had 2 HVAC technicians at my house , Jaydon Arsenault and Ray Polanco to install my A/C unit. They were both fantastic to work with. Everything was explained to me in terms i understood ( I am a senior ), and they both answered every question i asked and all my concerns. They left the house and yard all cleaned up when job was finished. They were so nice to talk too, and kept me informed at all times, even taking pictures of unit in attic knowing that i couldn't go up there to see what they wanted to show me. I highly recommend Family Heating and Cooling in Westport, Ma for any air conditioning issues, I am so happy i chose them.
