  We had Family Heating & Cooling replace our furnace this April and install a dual‑fuel heat pump/high‑efficiency furnace system, which also gave us central AC. The heat pump now handles most of the heating and all of the cooling, and the high‑efficiency furnace only kicks in on very cold days. The upgrade has made a huge difference in comfort, efficiency, and overall climate control. They also did a terrific job fixing all of our old ductwork. Before, the system was extremely loud and the temperature difference between floors was huge. Now the heating is consistent throughout the house. Shawn Ellis went above and beyond to expedite inspections and proposals so the installation could move forward quickly while we were without heat. Every technician who came to our home was friendly, attentive, respectful, and kept us updated the entire time. I highly recommend Family Heating & Cooling.

  Family Heating and Cooling always shows up on time for your designated appointment. The technicians text you when they are on the way for the service. Cameron was our technician for a HWH replacement. Family now has a Mater Plumber (Cameron) on their staff full time. No need for coordination for plumbing assistance, a huge plus for using Family. Cameron was cordial and informative, he explained all aspects of the job and made me aware of the PVC pipe originally installed was not code compliant and changed the vent piping to code during the HWH replacement. Once again we received excellent service from Cameron and Family.

  Ray and Noah were great. We’ve had our house for 5 years and never had a problem with our A/C unit until one day it suddenly stopped working. We called The Family because they had the best prices in the city, and you definitely get what you pay for. Ray and Noah were our technicians, and they were both nice and professional. You could tell they really knew what they were doing. They took their time to explain everything clearly, what was wrong, what they were fixing, and how everything worked. They were kind, respectful, and made the whole process stress-free. Glad to have had these technicians fixing our A/C unit. Highly recommend.

  We recently had service which included replacing parts in our heating system and upgraded our filters in our HVAC system. Family always follows up on scheduled service with reminders of the date several days before along with reminders the day of the service with an “on the way” reminder. The day of service reminder includes the technician’s name and a brief bio. Alex, our technician, was prompt and professional. He explained the service he was providing at the beginning of the service and provided a summary when he completed the work. Certainly a “five star” great company.

  Planning on AC installation, Family Heating and Cooling came highly recommended by a friend. I have to agree. I found them to be one of the most profressional and courteous companies I have ever dealt with. The team assigned to perform the installation were exceptional. Noah and Nate performed above and beyond my expectations. They were punctual, courteous and respectful of me and my home. The completed this project in such a manner, they made what could have been a stressful experience care free. Each day they were mindful to keep me updated on the progress and clean up efforts were meticulous. The whole team did a great job and I highly recommend this company.
