  We paid $25,000+ for a whole house mini-split air conditioning system and it has not worked right from the very first day they installed it! I am sitting here on July4th in 80+ temps in my home with my asthma flairing, using inhalers. I can't open windows due to bad allergies. We have crank windows so we can't put in any window unit. They don't offer ANY emergency service. They installed this the end of July 2025. They have been out here at least 5 times because this system doesn't work! ZERO STARS!

  Cotti Johnson saved the day with AC fix on an almost 100 degree day. This will save our 4th of July weekend! Freddy was here, explained all the options and took care of everything. Friendly, knowledgeable and overall excellent service.

  The technician Chris did an excellent job explaining the situation and completing the work and was very friendly. He was not the problem. The company however was a disaster to work with. My first 2 appointments for this issue were completely ignored and they never showed up. They showed up over 2 hours after the window one time at nearly 6:00 when I was already out of the house and had to reschedule again, and that was an hour after the answering service told me they were closed for the day. My landlord had to call and remind them multiple times that I was authorized to schedule an appointment so things took multiple days longer than they should have. My issue took over a month to resolve requiring 3 different appointments, when it could have easily been done within a week. I'm fact, I could have probably bought my own pressure washer and a can of chemicals and done it myself for half the price and a small fraction of the time.

  No need to look anywhere else for your electric/hvac needs. We had an outstanding experience with Cotti-Johnson Electric from start to finish. Jess, the manager who came out to provide our estimate for an EV charger installation, was exceptional. She was incredibly honest and took the time to think through creative solutions that avoided unnecessary, expensive work. Rather than simply recommending the costliest option, she proposed practical workarounds that met our needs and ultimately came in at a lower price than the competition. She is sharp, knowledgeable, and an outstanding problem solver. On top of that, she is an excellent communicator and project manager, keeping us informed every step of the way. We were truly impressed with her professionalism and integrity. Jesse, who completed the installation, was equally fantastic. He worked incredibly hard, was friendly and pleasant to have around, and did an excellent job installing our EV charger, which ended up being a rather complex and long installation. The work was completed on an expedited timeline, and we couldn’t be happier with the final result. It’s refreshing to find a company that is so honest and genuinely looks out for its customers. That level of integrity is hard to find these days. We highly recommend Cotti-Johnson Electric and will absolutely use them for all of our future electrical, hvac, and any other needs.

  Complete incompetence! We have two air conditioning units - first floor and second floor. The second floor was not working. They came out to diagnose and tried adding refrigerant, which did not work. We had to have the unit replaced. When they came to replace it they removed the wrong condenser outside, they removed the unit for the first floor that was working. As it turns out, that was the unit they put refrigerant in. They diagnosed the problem wrong from the start. Then they came out to replace the upstairs unit. They removed the condenser from the downstairs unit. When replacing that unit, it was not longer working and they said the last technician to put refrigerant in it broke a valve. That was them. I agreed, reluctantly to pay for the equipment and they would replace the downstairs unit for us. I am now 2.5 weeks into waiting and they informed me they will replace it July 1st - because they do not make any money fixing their mistake. Incompetence from the start and no urgency in correcting their error. Find another service and save yourself a lot of frustration and money.
