  Masterful Hardwood Restoration and Installation: A True 5-Star Experience We could not be more pleased with Select Flooring and Beyond and the extraordinary work they performed in our home. Our project was extensive and logistically complex, involving the removal of carpeting, refinishing existing hardwood floors in several rooms, installing brand-new hardwood in others, and temporarily moving and carefully repositioning furniture throughout our occupied first floor. From the initial planning through the final cleanup, the entire experience was genuinely outstanding. John, the owner, impressed us from his first visit with his experience, insight, and thoughtful attention to detail. He carefully assessed our home and devised a creative, strategic approach and timeline for completing the work efficiently while minimizing disruption. His plan skillfully coordinated each phase of the renovation—including furniture movement, carpet removal, refinishing, new installation, and the orderly progression of work from room to room. It was immediately apparent that John understood not only the technical requirements of the project, but also the practical concerns of the homeowners living through it. Our installation crew—Jason, Martin, and Bin—worked in our home for well over a week, and we cannot commend them highly enough. They were extremely conscientious, professional, hardworking, friendly, skilled, and customer-focused throughout the entire project. Their experience and craftsmanship were evident in every phase of the work and in every detail of the finished floors. They approached their responsibilities with remarkable care and precision, consistently demonstrating pride in their work and a genuine commitment to achieving the best possible result. Jason, Martin, and Bin are true craftsmen—and, in a very real sense, artists in the realm of hardwood flooring. They beautifully restored our existing hardwood and expertly installed new flooring in the rooms that required it, producing an exceptionally attractive, cohesive result throughout our home. The quality of the workmanship is apparent in the beauty of the wood, the consistency of the finish, and the careful execution of the edges, transitions, staircase, and other detailed areas. The accompanying photographs help convey the remarkable finished result, although they cannot fully capture how extensively the new and refinished floors have enhanced the appearance and character of our home. We were equally impressed by the crew’s respect for our house and possessions. They were exceptionally careful about protecting our furniture and other belongings, containing the inevitable effects of such a substantial project, and cleaning the work areas thoroughly and conscientiously. That level of care, consideration, and professionalism gave us great confidence throughout the process and made a demanding home renovation considerably easier for us. Select Flooring and Beyond delivered exactly what one hopes to receive from an outstanding home-improvement company: expert planning, superb craftsmanship, honest and responsive customer service, careful protection of the home, and a beautiful, top-quality finished product. This was an unequivocally five-star experience from beginning to end. We offer our highest commendation and sincere thanks to John, Jason, Martin, and Bin for their exceptional work.   We used Select Flooring to replace our engineered flooring in our kitchen, dining room, living room, study and associated closets. Our desired transitions were not available but Megan worked with A.J. at Floor and Decor to obtain them in time. The team picked up and delivered the (bulky and heavy!) material ahead of time to let it acclimate inside our house. That’s when they noticed the wrong baseboards were ordered, but Megan quickly found another source that delivered exact matches to our existing baseboards! Megan ensured everything happened according to plan without any delays. The installation team was professional, neat and courteous. Before removing the old flooring, they covered all the cabinets and countertops to keep them dust-free. So, we highly recommend Select Flooring
