This company was recommended to me by my sister. The process up to, and including and removal/installation, was great, until they left. That night (Thursday) my oil burner stopped working, which is important as it supplies the house hot water. Tech came out and the system was clogged with sludge, and $350 later it was running, and he said it may need more servicing. When I contacted the office, I got a “that can happen”. Again tonight, around the same time, the oil burner stopped working, and the tech is back out clearing more sludge clogging. So, in closing, I replaced the old, sludgy tank and they turned around and pumped the brand new tank full of old sludge. $600 to clear my system, so far, on top of the $4k to remove and replace the tank. I guess I was the 1 in 100 who got the bad service.
Addendum on 4/18: I was able to speak w/ Kate and she was incredibly helpful and understanding. She made it right and i’m very appreciative. Some of it was the result of miscommunication. On a whole, they were great.
Thank you Kate

I would not recommend Removal Pro Services. They were hired to clean up contaminated land and during the job decided to increase costs exponentially resulting in litigation. These guys cant be trusted, save your time and money and search elsewhere for these contractual services

The team did an excellent job installing our new oil tank. They arrived right on time, worked efficiently, and kept everything very clean throughout the process. The drilling and installation of the new filling hoses was done neatly and professionally. They were polite, respectful, and made sure everything was spotless before leaving. Highly recommend their work!

Today we had an oil tank replacement and chose a Roth. While it is too soon to comment on the efficiency of the tank, it certainly looks nicer than the old one. The young men on crew 4 Andrew, Damien and Ryan were excellent. They were early, which we loved, efficient and very polite and respectful. Removed old tank and installed new one, including a new line from burner to tank in approximately 3hrs. Ryan explained everything he did, and what we needed to do next. Five stars are not enough, in our opinion!

Ryan did a great job! He knew what he was doing and he is definitely an asset to the company. I was very pleased with his work.
When should I replace my tank and how do I know a tank needs replacing?
Generally, tanks that are 20 years or older should be replaced. Signs that indicate replacement is needed include oily wet stains beneath the tank, black droplet accumulation, moisture around piping or tank seams. Any active leak requires immediate tank replacement.
What happens to the oil left in the tank?
During installation, Removal Pro filters and pumps usable oil back into your new tank. For disposal services, we handle oil disposal in accordance with all state and federal regulations.
Does Removal Pro service my area?
Removal Pro provides services throughout Central and Eastern Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire and Maine, and Cape Cod & the Islands.
How long does a removal and installation process take?
The removal and installation process generally requires 3-6 hours to complete. Duration may vary based on the specific complexity of your project.
Am I responsible for tank leakage and oil remediation?
While we maintain proper licensing to clean up and remove all leaked oil, the financial responsibility for this service rests with the property owner.
Are there government funded programs available?
