  Had a Kohler kitchen and Bathroom faucet installed with a vanity. Eric and Gem Plumbing did a fantastic job and kept us updated as they went along. Extremely knowledgeable, knew what they were doing, and gave us some information before they left. They explained their warranty and said “we’re around 24/7 if you need us”. I am not a plumber but train others in customer service. And Gem Plumbing gets an A++

  We had a submissive sewer pump replaced in our basement bathroom. The Gem technician Josue arrived and said there was a $630 diagnostics fee. And I agreed to pay it . A short time later he said the pump was burnt out and the full cost of repair would be $2624 and again I agreed to the cost and paid for! Less than one month later pump stopped working! Called Gem back and Nicholas came out next day he said a rubber seal was found in the bottom basin causing the malfunction and said that it was probably there when we first had the pump Installed but the tech must have not seen it so it was never removed! So my question is , what work is actually done for a diagnostic assessment of the tank ? One would think that it would be emptied out to check for anything nefarious causing the problem ! So when the question was asked as to how he found it and and not the original Tech Josue he said Josue must have missed it, maybe it was to dark down there or didn’t empty it out all the way🤔I believe that’s the word “diagnostic”means assessment of a person place or thing surveying for any thing malicious or, lack there of that causing the malfunction. Now they are trying to charge us $300 for the removal of the seal that was left behind by their own technician !!!! 🤯

  Today we had our AC systems installed on the roof of our condo’s. The team from GEM were amazing. They were very professional, communicated every step of what they were doing which gave me great peace. The team, Omar who was the lead, John, Louis, Michael, Mike the electrician were phenomenal. Nick with the crane crew was very nice. I hope I didn’t miss anyone. It was so assuring watching them work so well together. Their respect for each other was present and refreshing. This job was done simultaneously between my neighbors condo and my condo which was huge. The team truly worked AMAZINGLY well together. Their checklist & cleanup was A PLUS PLUS. I would highly recommend GEM and their teams. Anthony Goris was very professional and expertly explained what was happening with my very old AC unit. He was very patient and kind with his time relieving my anxiety of a huge purchase. Edgar Pollino was also very professional and expertly explained my options. He was very knowledgeable explaining everything and very patient & kind answering all my questions. I would highly recommend GEM.

  I initially gave GEM a five-star rating because I was pleased with the company’s promptness and courtesy and believed the plumbing issue had been resolved.. Unfortunately, that rating was premature. Less than an hour after the technician left, we discovered that the problem had not been fixed. A second technician returned 24 hours later but did not listen carefully as we explained what had been happening. His failure to address the issue properly resulted in significant water damage to our hardwood floors. Ultimately, I had to hire another company to complete the repair.. They were responsive, attentive, courteous, and experienced—and successfully fixed the problem. Happy to share their name. We continue to play telephone tag with GEM. It’s been a month. I am requesting reimbursement for the plumbing service GEM failed to complete, as well as compensation for the damage to our hardwood floors. A word of caution to other customers: Before leaving a review, take the time to confirm that the work has been completed properly and that the original issue is fully resolved. I wish I had done so before submitting my initial five-star rating.

  The air conditioner serving the second floor of my brand-new house had problems from day one. For months, the builder kept sending different technicians, each trying to fix one issue after another, but no one addressed the actual cause. As a result, the upstairs bedrooms became unbearably hot, and we often had to sleep in the first\-floor family room just to stay comfortable. Eventually, instead of waiting any longer for another warranty visit, I called GEM Plumbing & Heating - and I’m so glad I did. GEM sent a technician, Dory, the very next day. He quickly identified the real problem: a refrigerant leak. It turned out that the builder’s technicians had been treating only the symptoms of the leak, such as condensate buildup, rather than finding and fixing the root cause. Dory returned the following day with the necessary equipment, and resolved the issue. The air conditioning has been working great ever since. I only wish I had called GEM from the beginning instead of enduring an uncomfortable summer. A huge thank you to GEM—and especially to Dory—for real expertise and the outstanding service. Highly recommended!
