  Recently had an inspection and cleaning with Brayden and Logan from Original Chimney Sweep Inc. for my new house in Medfield, as it has a 76 year old chimney I was concerned about. Appointment went great - Brayden and Logan were both very professional and pleasant to engage with. The cleaning was fast and efficient, and the price I was given for the repairs our flue and chimney needs were very fair. Brayden was very clear and transparent in discussing the repairs, letting me know what work was essential and what I could wait on (or skip entirely) - huge relief for a new homeowner where costs are piling up. Definitely would recommend, especially to anyone who has an older home, or a chimney in general.

  I remember the first time they came to the house. It was Joe the owner and Master Sweep himself. He was kind courteous and on point with service. The staff which calls before and after then was his lovely wife just a delight. Together they have pushed this company with the same integrity and kindness. Although now I have a different sweep person on staff and a different person talking before and after. It’s the same as the two heads of the company. I would recommend The Original Chimney in North Attleboro Mass to any surrounding towns. Thank you

  Have used these guys for over 2 decades. Solid as they come. Just found out they do repairs on woodstoves and fireplace inserts.

  I contacted this company for a chimney cleaning and was quoted $289. When the technician arrived, he informed us that the chimney could not be cleaned because it needed a liner installed first and said he would send us a quote for the work. To my surprise, we were then charged $195 even though no cleaning was performed. At no point during scheduling was I told there would be a charge if the service could not be completed. When I called to discuss it, I was told the fee was for an inspection. While I understand charging for inspections, that information should be disclosed upfront. I’ve had many contractors come to my home to provide estimates, and I’ve never been charged for a quote when no work was done. Rather than addressing the lack of transparency, I was only offered a discount if I chose to move forward with their company. The technician was polite and professional, but the unexpected charge left a bad impression. Because of this experience, I decided not to proceed with their services.

  I have been using this company for 5 years to clean my chimney. They have always been professional. I recently had questions about their work and starting at Jen in the office and progressed to the owner paying a visit to my house. Every step of the way they were supportive and cared that I felt comfortable with the job their guys completed. The interactions I have had with them this year let to me hiring them install a pellet stove in my home. Ben their salesman in the office was very patient and took my many phone calls and answered all my questions in a very timely fashion. I feel very confident in my decision to continue using this company and I think you should too.
