  After quite a bit of research, I selected StoneBase Masonry & Waterproofing for a major project that included a complete walkway regrade and rebuild, step tread replacement, and retaining wall repair. From start to finish, Jonathan was responsive, professional, and communicative — always returning messages promptly and keeping me informed throughout the process. The crew he employs is outstanding. The lead mason and his colleague brought genuine skill, meticulous attention to detail, and real integrity to every aspect of the work. When an unexpected structural issue was discovered mid-project, the lead mason had a choice: patch the surface and move on, or stop, present it to me in detail, and do the job properly. He chose the latter without hesitation, tearing out compromised structure and rebuilding it correctly from the ground up. That kind of integrity, doing the right thing when the easier wrong thing was readily available, is rare and worth recognizing. The finished result is breathtaking: a complete transformation of the front entrance of my home. I could not be more pleased. The quality of materials, the precision of the installation, and the overall craftsmanship speak for themselves. I will say honestly that this is not inexpensive work. If you're looking for a bargain, look elsewhere. If you want it done beautifully and done right, with people who take genuine pride in their craft, StoneBase is worth every penny. Highly recommend.

  Jonathan and his team are absolutely phenomenal! I recently purchased a home, and I needed some masonry and foundation repairs. Jonathan gave me a very competitive quote and was able to get me scheduled extremely fast. His team did a fantastic job and were able to complete the entire project in one day.   Jonathan is a great guy who kindly guided us through the design and construction process. His crew was painstakingly scrupulous in their work, they continued with focus and concentration even in high heat conditions. The finished stairs are expertly crafted and beautiful to behold!

  Jonathan and his team are the best. This started from my very first interaction. I got a very prompt reply to my inquiry. Jonathan waited patiently for me to get other quotes and to check his references. I was actually a little concerned by how glowing the references were but, now I understand why his customers love him. Jonathan and his team removed a cinder block foundation from under my garage that had deteriorated so badly that you could put your hand through the blocks like they were made of paper. They hand dug down to 6 feet, braced the structure, removed the old blocks and all of the debris, added new lolly columns, and rebuilt the foundation walls with new cinder blocks filled with concrete. They cleaned up every day and worked long days and weekends to get the job done in a timely manner. Jonathan stopped by every day and/or had his supervisor on site for all of the work. On the final day, he came by to ensure the final cleanup was to my standards and look at the quality of the finished work I will be using Jonathan and Stonebase for all my future hardscape, foundation, driveway, etc. work. You should too.
