You know they dont know what they are doing because they used the yellow expanding foam between the frame and building when its supposed to be non expanding white window and door foam.

- MGMarc GreenwaldApr 1, 20265.0My 30 year old windows felt cold this winter from two to three feet away. I realized it was time to bite the bullet and replace them. I had replaced three windows (the worst ones) last year with another installer. They were good, but as double pane, temperatures of near zero Fahrenheit were a bit much for them. I researched triple pane windows and got to HiTech. Bill came, assessed the 16 windows (double-hung and casement), went over their windows' technology, insulation values, installation procedures, etc. I had had experience (good!) with triple pane windows, and the series presented was the one used at the Mt. Washington weather station. This was February, and we anticipated installation late March or early April. The windows, manufactured in New England, were ready and installed in one day the third week of March. The installation was smooth, with no hitches. The techs were delightful as well as skilled. The windows look great (no painting was needed!), they are exactly as proposed, and their sound proofing compared with the old windows is also a plus! I can highly recommend HiTech Windows for anyone in a four season climate!
