  Peak Roofing put a new roof on my house as part of a deal with Summit Solar company on Dec. 6th 2023. We had a bad rain storm on December 10th 2023 and had water POURING into my house through the ceiling all night long. We called our Solar guy and Peak came immediately the next morning. On my ring cam, the main contractor admitted that it was totally their fault. He went so far as to say that if they (Peak) did not take care of this, that he would quit. They fired the guy who was supervising the job and promised to take care of everything. It is now September 24, 2024 and there is still a tarp on my roof and I have no siding on the back of my house. Lots of lip service from Peak, apologies from every employee who has come to see it, yet no action to help us actually fix the problem. My wife has gone down to the Peak office, they are rude to her, and have blown her off on several occasions. We have never asked for a new roof, just to patch and fix the areas that were damaged by the tarp (screws put into roof and siding) and to cover the siding that insurance would not cover. These are both problems that started and were exposed by the faulty roof put on by Peak. We have waited and waited for them to do the right thing and we have been consistently blown off. So I am making this post and will continue to tell our story. I would not ever recommend anyone do business with these people.

  Apparently, the permits for the company to repair my roof took over 4 weeks, to which their excuse was that town permit offices constantly change their fees. I called my permit office to which they stated the permit was approved, awaiting COMPLETE payment from the company. In any case, the crew showed promptly at 8am and worked tirelessly through the ENTIRE day, to remove the old shingles and install the new ones, working PAST sunset to finish the job in ONE day. I had to give them a warning about the amount slamming they were causing when bringing materials onto my roof, especially my sunroom because the structure is thinner and shakes more. I just hope the structure didn't take any damage as a result. They have to return the following week to reattach my gutter above my garage that they informed me ahead of time that they had to remove. I had no problems with this. I am still awaiting Summit Energy to reinstall my solar panels. It's been 6 weeks so far from the day I initiated the contract with them. *****UPDATE to this review***** After the nasty Nor'easter we had this past weekend (12/17/2023), my gutters were overflowing and NOT properly flowing the water, as they are prescribed to. I noticed the Gutters were drooping more than they should have. Peak roofing sent out a crew to adjust my gutters. As it turns out, the crew didn't adjust the Gutters to be flush up against the sophet valves, causing them to droop. My conclusion is that the roofing crews from the previous Wednesday worked WELL into pitch blackness, thus missing the issue with my Gutters. I had allotter myself two days for them to do the job. Granted, I have no issue with them working as fast as they did, but unfortunately other areas of the job were missed, i.e. my Gutters.

  Peak completed the installation in two days and when they left the place was spotless. Very professional. Very responsive via email. Highly recommend!
