  Pierce Home Services is amazing. I would give them 100 stars if they were available. building. He had the electric manager call me the next day. To make a long story short, we live in a townhouse building that has five buildings. The owners in the middle unit were experiencing intermittent power outages. The power issues affected his 240 amp power. The owners did not have hot water, sometimes the furnace stopped working, the refrigerator worked intermittently, and the stove did not work. The unit owners called a different electrician that he found on Google. It turns out the fuse in the group meter box was getting wet and it would fry up within 24-48 hours. The electric panel and all the wires and meters needed to be updated/replaced on the outside of the building. The association decided to go with the first company that came out as it was a necessity to get this electricity issue resolved. Six weeks later the issue was still not resolved with the first electric company. People quit or got fired and nobody took ownership of our project. We fired the first company six weeks in. I explained to Brendan what was going on and we were in the process of firing the current electric company that was hired to do the repair. Brendan come out the next day to take a look at our panel to see what needed to be repaired. I notified Brendan on a Saturday morning that we were firing the first company, he was at our address by Monday afternoon on 5/11/26. Words cannot describe how amazing Brendan and the crew in the electrical department truly are at Pierce. On Tuesday 5/12/26 I got a call from one of the unit owners that the pole on the side of the building had fallen off of the building. I texted Brendan a picture of what happened. Brendan immediately called me. He said he was sending someone over and he was also going to call Unitil. A crew member from Pierce was at our address within 10 minutes. Brendan and his team were able to perform an emergency repair for us. The emergency repair did leave one unit owner without any electricity per the wires inspector for our city. That same evening after the repair was completed, the entire building lost electricity. Brendan came out to the building that evening to make sure it wasn't anything that they did that caused the power to go out. It turns out someone switched all the breakers off to the building. There was an issue with one of the parts coming in. Brendan was in contact with the supplier in the morning and at the end of his shift every day checking on the status of the part. It took around two weeks for the part to arrive, but it did finally show up. Brendan contacted the wire inspector in our city to get approval for another temporary fix so the unit owners did not go into Memorial Day weekend without any electricity. Brendan moved their meter to the outside of our meter box and added a brand new connection so the owners had electricity. The part we had been waiting for arrived and the repair was completed. While making the repair, they saw that our point of connection was loose. They installed a new piece but Unitil said that it wasn't strong enough and changed it back to the original piece holding the wires onto the house. Brendan's team was able to cut a hole into the wall of the end unit and install some 2x4's to make a secure connection. Brendan was able to provide a name of someone to call to repair the drywall that was cut into so we can secure the connection. Overall, Brendan and his team were amazing. They definitely put the customer first. Brendan was in communication with me through every step of the process. We cannot thank Brendan and his team enough for everything they have done for us. All of homeowners have decided we will call Pierce Home Services for all of our electric, plumbing, and heating needs. I wish there were more employees and businesses like the employees with Pierce Home Services. You are all amazing!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

  Updated: The company responded through their senior management and was able to acknowledge the issues and address them to my partial satisfaction. I've used Pierce Plumbing twice: once for a combi boiler and once for an in-unit gas HVAC, and both experiences followed the same frustrating pattern. Each visit started with an $89 diagnostic fee, after which a technician briefly inspected the unit and concluded it was "too old to repair" and needed full replacement. These assessments came with little technical explanation and were delivered by a young tech with under two years of experience, which made it difficult to trust the diagnosis. The first time, I went ahead with a full boiler replacement, a decision I now regret, as I believe the unit had more life left in it. The second time, they replaced parts on my wall heater, charged nearly $500, and still came back with the same conclusion: replace it. Conveniently, they were happy to sell and install a new one. The staff is genuinely friendly, and I don't doubt their intentions. However, what this company consistently lacks is experienced technicians capable of thorough diagnostics and actual repairs. If you're looking for someone to fix your HVAC, I'd recommend getting a second opinion before committing. If you're already planning a full replacement, they may be fine — but don't pay $89 expecting a real diagnosis.

  Nick was wonderful in getting the process in motion with estimates, paperwork and permit. He was so accessible and always answered my questions in a timely fashion. So pleased with the work done by Matt and Cam. Very professional and thorough when installing my boiler system. They were very conscious of keeping my home clean and left my basement spotless when they left. I would highly recommend Pierce Plumbing.
