  Today was our first routine maintenance on our system. Dan and Lucas arrived right on time, and were professional, thorough, and explained everything they did! Even back to our installation of our new gas heater, Semper Mechanical has been nothing but fantastic to deal with, from the installers, the service techs, the office staff have ALL been a pleasure to deal with!

  Semper Mechanical just finished replacing our 16 year old central air conditioning system with a Bosch IDS (Inverter Ducted Split) heat pump configured for use in our central air conditioning system. It is amazingly quiet and super efficient. It was a pleasure working with Semper Mechanical. I highly recommend them. They took the time to thoroughly understand our priorities and concerns with the existing system and provided multiple solution alternatives. When we emphasized the importance of having a quiet system, the project estimator, Matt, worked with us and the vendor’s technical team to be certain the Bosch IDS solution we chose, would be compatible with our existing thermostats and zone dampers. The installation work was a bit complex due to the location of the air handler in an attic crawl space with tight access - but Semper did their planning homework and removed the old system and got the new system installed and completed the project on schedule. The installers attention to detail was remarkable. In addition to replacing the air handler and condenser units, they also examined the old ducts, reconfigured them to make air filter changes easier, and sealed several air leaks in the ducts. They were wonderfully thoughtful in where they placed the refrigerant plumbing and condensate drain lines to minimize tripping hazards and maximize reliability. The refrigerant plumbing was tested and purged multiple times (including one test overnight) to ensure there were no leaks. After the job was completed, the system was run for quite sometime in different configurations to test the static pressure regulator for the ductwork and to ensure there were no issues while they gathered their tools, cleaned up the work sites, and did their post-installation checklist/walkthrough. Overall it was a great job done with care at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Semper Mechanical for any air conditioning or heat pump work. They also do large basement dehumidifier systems work too!

  We contacted Semper for a second opinion after another HVAC company informed us that we'd need to replace the entire outdoor condenser unit at significant expense. Dan from Semper came to inspect, and determined that we only needed to replace the control board within the unit. Literally saved us thousands of dollars. And thanks to Karl as well for helping us navigate parts replacement under warranty!
