- PJPaul Bergeron Jr.Mar 23, 20265.0I recently had P.K. McGuane Plumbing and Heating come out to fix an incorrectly installed drain line in my basement and cap off some existing hot and cold water lines ahead of waterproofing work. Chris and Cam were fantastic—professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Chris took the time to clearly explain what needed to be done and even walked me through options for future improvements. I’ve also worked alongside P.K. McGuane on contractor jobs with Bonsai Builders, and they’re always great collaborators—reliable, efficient, and easy to coordinate with on-site. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again!
- KMKelley MarstonJul 23, 20255.0Brian is a fabulous person to work with. Thorough, kind, and always a clean job done. His estimates are spot on and he is very transparent about timeliness and costs. Would recommend his services to anyone.
- JEJerome EdgingtonJul 11, 20255.0I discovered McGuane Plumbing through a bathroom remodel where they were a subcontractor. They did a great job with that, so when we had a toilet come loose and flood a little, they were my first call. They came out only an hour later and had it fixed in an hour. Turned out that the flange holding to the floor was 30 years old and just fell apart. Really appreciate the speed of service and the cost was very reasonable. Highly recommend.
- ANAustin NapierMay 2, 20255.0We had an excellent experience with all our plumbing needs about one year ago with one big and many smaller projects in our 50's house! Brian and Chris are both very professional, friendly, and caring about each problem and finding excellent and reasonable cost solutions. We continue to appreciate all their work and will definitely call if we ever have any more plumbing needs. If you are in search of an excellent plumbing company, this is the one!
- SWSusan WhittemoreMar 5, 20255.0Brian and team were fabulous in working on my older home, installing fixtures in a remodeled bathroom and replacing older plumbing fixtures throughout the home. Brian took the time to understand my house, my wishes and made great recommendations along the way.
Frequently Asked Questions About P.K. McGuane Plumbing and Heating
What do I do if my garbage disposal stops working?
First, disconnect the power to the disposal. Next, locate and press the red reset button on the unit's underside. If the disposal hums without spinning, there's likely a jam. Use a 1/4-inch Allen wrench in the center hole beneath the unit and rotate it back and forth to clear the obstruction. For safety, never reach inside the disposal with your hands.
