  If you are wondering about getting a dependable roofer and the biggest bang for your buck, I can't recommend GREATER BOSTON ROOFING enough. I live in Watertown and found out about them by asking my neighbors who got their roof done in 2019--since I had no idea which roofing company to go with. I called GBR and within 24h they were already checking out my roof and ready to give me a quote. I did check around and it was a very reasonable price. Mike was my first point of contact--he took some drone pics of my roof and told me what was what. Very skilled and professional. I was in contact with him and Peter and his crew from start to finish. Lisa was my office contact and she helped me with EVERYTHING too--like choosing my beautiful Terra Cotta tiles. She was excellent. Within just a couple of days they scheduled the installation. During the installation, Peter and the CREW WERE GREAT--Peter was around for any questions I had, and the crew worked to get the job done totally successfully---and after they left, it was like they were never there----they did impeccable after-roof cleanup. They also installed a skylight into my bathroom and guarantee ZERO leaks. Amazing! Amazing team and job. It was a quality installation to say the least. Thank you, GBR!

  We have a huge log home where the disarrayed roof needed replacing, all of it, severely problematic dormers repaired, gutters installed, and much of our rotted log facade siding replaced. Mike had his finger on every detail throughout the various stages of the extensive work being done on our home. Nothing seemed too small to warrant his attention, and we always felt that he knew exactly where the project stood. Mike Weiss, of Boston Roofing Company, deserves our highest praise for his outstanding project management, proposed solutions and product selections, and, just as importantly, the team he assembled to make it all happen. The workmanship and team members were absolutely top-notch. From the beginning, we felt confident that we had selected the right person and the right company to work on our home. Before making our decision, we interviewed and received quotes from several other companies. Mike stood apart from all of them. He was professional, genuinely down-to-earth, extremely knowledgeable, and exceptionally easy to work with. Most importantly, he communicated with us in a way that left no gray areas. We always understood what was being done, why it was being done, and what to expect next. All for very fair pricing. Each change order was clearly outlined. The approval and payment process is all electronic ~ very professional the way around. We also want to acknowledge the team on the inside who worked on our account. Great to deal with; extremely pleasant. Without trying to repeat myself, but: Top-notch all around! I am also a HUGE fan of change orders! Knowing from the outset that anything outside the original scope of work would be clearly documented and managed through a change order said a great deal to me about how professionally Mike runs a project. There were no surprises and no ambiguity. Mike said something to us during the project that really stayed with both of us: “I treat this project as I would my own home.” That really hit “home” for my husband and me—and, based on our experience, Mike truly meant it. Even his team members working on or around our house were super nice and very clean! They even had great things to say about Mike! In the end, the various teams backed their way out, practically without a trace, except for leaving an AWESOME job well done. They should all be proud, as I know we are! Because of the excellent experience we had with Mike, we already plan to have him come back in the spring to provide us with a quote for replacing our windows. And knowing our house, I’m sure there will be other projects to follow! :-) Please extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Mike and everyone involved.   From providing free estimate to completing the roof replacement, my experience with Greater Boston Roofing was very smooth! The quote was extremely reasonable. It was much lower than what other contractors had offered. The quality of their service was outstanding. The entire team, including their contractor Michael Weiss, Lisa Zonfrillo, Peter Vincent and the roofing crew, provided exceptional customer service. They went above and beyond to help and make the process simple and straightforward. I am a first-time homeowner with no experience with roof replacement. Great Boston Roofing took away all the stress out of the process for a first-time homeowner such as myself. They were patient, addressed all my questions with respect and professionalism. Their service was outstanding. I am going to hire them for additional services for my house in the future and will recommend them to all my friends and folks in my network. I highly recommend their services.

  GBR did a great job stripping the roof, containing the debris, and making sure the underlayment, including new plywood was done well. Clinton and Peter kept the job organized, safe and efficient. It was a complicated rehab of the roof done in two days. Great job, great employees.

  We called GBR to remove a downspout that was dangling from our brownstone. The removed it and charged us. The took the copper downspout with them and provided an estimate to have it replaced. We have been trying to book them for about 6 months and they never return our calls or emails. We want our expensive piece of copper back!
