- CNChristina NethOct 17, 20265.0Promark painting just finished up painting two bedrooms in my home. The workers did far more than expected and the rooms look better than I had ever anticipated. The prep work was done with perfection and the final outcome is A1. When future painting is required in my home, I won’t bother looking elsewhere. First class job, workers were polite, hard-working, and worth every penny. Do yourself a favor, hire Promark for your interior or exterior painting needs. I’m so glad I found them. Thanks, Tom and your crew.
- SLScott LemosOct 13, 20265.0Great experience from start to finish. Tom and Youssef were professional, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the process. The crew did an excellent job painting the exterior of our home, with great attention to detail. Everything looks fantastic, and we’re really happy with the results. Highly recommend!
- EDElizabeth DeLanaOct 10, 20265.0OUTSTANDING. Pro Mark Painting did our whole house, fence, and outdoor shower. Each one needed a slightly different treatment, and they knew exactly what each surface called for. The outdoor shower got the same care and attention as the house itself, and so did the fence. The crew is kind and quiet, which matters a great deal when people are working around your home all day. They are also very precise. You can see it in every edge and corner. The customer service was prompt and detail oriented from the first conversation to the last. When the work was finished, they followed up with clear instructions for how to care for each area, so I know how to look after the house, the fence, and the shower in the years ahead. I would hire them again tomorrow. If you live in or near Newburyport and have something that needs painting, call Pro Mark.
- IWIda WyeOct 10, 20265.0Exceptional service and results. Meticulous workmanship and attention to detail. I have never witnessed a crew who spent as much time and effort on prep work and the finished product demonstrates that.
- TLTaylor LindenSep 30, 20265.0I can’t speak highly enough about Tom and his team! We needed a few rooms painted in a short window and they made it happen with ease. We even added a room halfway through the project and they adjusted no problem. Tom is a pleasure to work with and provided great advice on selecting finishes. The rooms look perfect and we could not be happier. Will definitely be using them again!
Frequently Asked Questions About ProMark Painting Inc
How far will you drive for an estimate?
We service the entire North Shore region, extending north to southern New Hampshire and south to Boston, MA.
How long will the project take?
Every project has a unique timeline depending on its specific requirements. Our experienced crew can efficiently manage projects of all sizes. Once we evaluate your particular needs, we'll give you a more precise timeframe.
Do you require a deposit?
Deposit terms depend on the size and complexity of your project. Please reach out to us directly so we can discuss the deposit requirements for your specific job.
What goes into creating a painting estimate?
After we discuss your project requirements and inspect your property, we determine the estimated labor hours needed. We then multiply those hours by our contractor rates and include the cost of all required materials. The combined total gives you your complete estimate.
What makes some paints more expensive than others?
Several factors affect paint pricing, including quality, consistency, and specific application purposes. Premium paints typically cost more upfront but deliver better coverage with fewer coats, which reduces overall project time. The superior finished appearance makes the additional investment worthwhile.
Do you use oil-based or latex-based paints? What are the differences and benefits?
We typically work with latex paints, which perform well on most surfaces and come in various finishes. Oil-based paints are used in specific applications. While latex offers versatility and multiple finish options, it's not the best choice for metal surfaces. Oil-based paints provide greater durability for high-traffic areas, though they show aging more noticeably over time.
Can you paint latex over a surface that was previously painted with oil?
Yes, quality latex paint can successfully bond to previously oil-painted surfaces when the area is properly prepared through complete cleaning and sanding. However, applying oil-based paint over latex isn't advisable.
How do I get an estimate?
To request an estimate, simply contact us through our online form or call our customer service team. We'll gather some basic information about your project and arrange a detailed walk-through appointment where we can thoroughly discuss your specific needs.
Do you offer any environmentally friendly options?
We're dedicated to providing eco-conscious painting services. Most of our paint products are non-toxic and contain low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). We also follow responsible practices for material usage and recycling. Our team can share more details about our environmentally friendly options during your consultation.
How do I prepare for your visit?
We take care of most preparation work, but it helps if you clear the work area and take down wall hangings or move any obstacles beforehand. Some clients prefer to be out during the painting due to the possibility of mess, but staying home is perfectly fine too.
