  Update in response to Able Plumbing: The response from Able is dishonest. Trace, was called for the same issue that occurred on Friday. The toilet had a leak from the base that was supposed to be fixed by Mike. After myself and Mike explained to Trace what was already done and observed, he went straight to the back yard and identified a pipe that Mike had missed where there was a blockage. Trace never asked to enter my home therefore he was not denied entry, but he did ask me to flush my toilet to ensure it was working and water was no longer leaking from the base once he was done with the sewer machine. This is what I was trying to communicate to the office staff but was dismissed. I called for the same issue both days and if Able truly had interest in verifying that account, they could review their recorded calls. Original Review: Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Able Plumbing based on my experience. Mike came to my home on Friday to address a plumbing issue with one of my toilets in my home. During the visit, he told me that he found water pooling in my backyard, asked me if that was normal, and said that it could possibly be related to the sewer backing up. He took me outside to show me the area and pulled some toilet paper from a P-trap, but told me that he did not see an actual sewer backup. He then resealed the toilet, told me the issue had been resolved, and left after approximately an hour of work. By Saturday morning, the same issue was still occurring, the toilet was leaking again. I called Able Plumbing again, and Trey came out Saturday evening. Before coming out, Trey explained that because the office was closed, he would have to charge me the weekend rate at a two hour minimum, but that I could call the office on Monday regarding a refund. When Trey arrived, I explained everything that Mike had done the previous day. Trey ended up using the sewer machine to clear a blockage that Mike was unaware of from the day prior. He also told me that after speaking with Mike, it appeared Mike had not realized which pipe led toward the city and had been looking at the P-trap when he determined there was no blockage. Trey’s entire visit at my residence may have totaled approximately 15-20 minutes. I want to be clear that both Mike and Trey were personally very pleasant. My issue is not with their demeanor or work; it is with how Able Plumbing handled the billing afterward. When I contacted the office after the weekend, instead of receiving the refund I understood I could discuss, I was told that Able Plumbing was giving me a “break” by charging me two hours at the regular rate for Saturday rather than charging the weekend rate, although the technician that came out on Friday noticed water pooling in my backyard yard but did not identify the correct pipe to address the issue. From my perspective, that is not a break. I am being charged for approximately an hour of work on Friday that did not resolve the problem and then being charged additional two hours labor for a roughly 20-minute visit the next day to actually correct the same issue. I understand that plumbing problems can sometimes require additional diagnosis. However, I was specifically told after the first visit that the issue had been resolved and if that was the case, I would not have required an additional visit on Saturday. When I tried to explain the sequence of events and why I did not believe I should be responsible for additional charges to fix the same unresolved problem, I found the response from the office to be dismissive rather than focused on reaching a fair resolution. Instead I was told I would be charged a regular rate for two hours and the sewer machine charge would be removed. Home repairs are expensive enough without customers having to worry about paying twice for the same problem. Based on my experience with the billing and office staff and the way my concerns were handled, I would recommend using a different plumbing company that guarantees their work.

  Answered when I called, sent someone out quickly to estimate the job, and then responded and repaired quickly after I gave the go-ahead. I believe the cost was quite high for the simple job, but I was sick and had multiple other issues going on at once so I couldn’t fix it myself like I normally would have. I cut one star for the price, but everything else was great.

  I had a stopped up sink with main drain clogged. Alex H came out . He was awesome and very nice and professional. He explained everything to me and answered all my questions. He cleaned up and wiped down under my sink with attention to detail. I was very please with his work.

  We’ve Able a couple of times for plumbing issues!!! The guys are great!! Knowledgeable and friendly.. diagnosed my issue that i thought it was, they came in and figured out the real issue!! Checked several things. Offered other solutions and offered after care service! Kade was a great technician!!! Added an access panel for future plumbing issues which the builder did not do. We will continue to use Able plumbing for all our plumbing needs!!
