  I chose Accutemp because of its reputation and expected a professional, high-quality installation. Unfortunately, more than a year after the project was completed, I continue to experience issues that leave me disappointed with both the installation quality and the follow-up support. The first concern was visible damage left around the thermostat installation. The drywall surrounding the thermostat was damaged during installation and never properly repaired. While this may seem minor compared to HVAC performance, it reflects a lack of attention to detail that became a recurring theme throughout the project. More concerning has been the performance of the system itself. There is a noticeable temperature difference between rooms in my home, particularly between the master bedroom and my children's bedroom. A properly designed and balanced HVAC system should maintain consistent comfort throughout the house, and this issue has never been fully resolved. Over time, additional installation concerns were identified, including air handler leaks that required temporary tape repairs, loose duct connections, and uncertainty regarding damper settings. Several technicians acknowledged these issues during service visits, which raised questions about whether the system was thoroughly commissioned and tested before the project was considered complete. One of the most frustrating aspects of the experience has been the lack of a comprehensive post-installation quality-control process. To my knowledge, no supervisor or project manager ever performed a final walkthrough to verify that the installation met expectations. Had that occurred, many of these issues could have been identified and corrected much earlier. I was also disappointed to learn that a significant issue involving the planned water heater installation was not fully addressed during the initial planning phase. Discovering major installation obstacles after the project is underway is not what I would expect from a company with Accutemp's reputation. Most recently, one of the HVAC units has experienced multiple failures within a very short period of time. Regardless of whether the root cause is equipment-related or installation-related, it has further reduced my confidence in the overall project. I am not writing this review because I expect perfection. Problems can occur on any project. What matters is how those problems are prevented, identified, and resolved. My experience has been that too many issues were missed during installation, and too much responsibility fell on me to identify them after the fact. I hope Accutemp's ownership or management team reviews this feedback carefully. The company has a strong reputation in our area, which is why I hired them in the first place. My goal in sharing this review is not to criticize for the sake of criticizing, but to encourage improvements in quality control, project oversight, and customer follow-through so future customers receive the level of service that Accutemp advertises and is known for. As it stands today, I cannot recommend Accutemp based on my personal experience.

  From their use of AI to pushy sales tactics and excessive charges, they're better avoided. The tech was able to diagnose and fix our issues, thus the 2nd star. Regarding their response, I avoid companies that use high pressure sales tactics. I gave them an opportunity to do right by me, and they didn't. Period.
