Ive been calling this place since Friday 8/14 left a call back with the garbage AI assistant they use never got a call back, left another one this morning Tuesday 8/18 never hot a call back, then called againg this afternoon and sat on hold for 10 min before it auto disconnected me. The sad part is that we had our home a/c done by them, plumbing, and electrical. I was calling regarding a new HVAC system at my store, and about an outlet they replaced at my house. I have noticed over the past few times my wife and I have tried to get in touch with them that the service has gotten steadily worse on the office end and trying to contact them. The techs were always friendly, and professional, but after this experience we will no longer be using Accutemp for anything. If they cant bother to answer a phone, or call back then they dont need our business at all, and apparently dont want it anyway.

If I could give negative stars I would. Outside and inside unit are barely a year and a half old. Since day one we have had nothing but issues. I highly doubt not recommend spending a dime with them.
Very helpful, kind and did great job explaining options for our electrical needs. Was prompt and quick and did great job cleaning up after.

Very Professional from the Customer Service rep to the installers. The experience since we purchased our 2 new units in Nov 2023 has been a very positive one. I would definitely recommend Accu-Temp. Reasonably priced and a great warranty that comes with your unit.

I spent $45,000 on two AC units and a mini split on my Baton Rouge home over the last 4 years. Accutemp talked me into the "service" plan. Big mistake. Last year, almost a whole year no one comes out. When I needed the unit to be checked, they wanted all the year's fees up front. I about pay them UNTIL I find out the fees are NOT applied to the service that I would need. It's in addition to whatever is needed. My question is: what the hell is the fee for? It's a way to extort more funds from the customer while the customers are thinking their repairs will be less than what they would be without the monthly service fee. Fast forward 2 yrs after installing my last unit which was $15K. Im out of town, and it appears my unit needs servicing (more freon) bc it's running and cant cool the house down. Turns out, they STILL want the back pay on their service plan fees before coming out, and if they do come out, the fees are NOT applied to the service. Who does this? Horrible management. It's like paying for medical insurance that never reimburses or covers any out of pocket costs. Highly recommend to avoid Accutemp unless youre okay throwing monthly away to fees that aren't applied to the actual service. Keep in mind, these are BRAND NEW units and should not be needing to be serviced besides cleaning, etc. FYI: I installed another unit in AR June 2025, and the installers told us we wouldnt need a service plan because the units are new.
Update: found out that a unit that Accutemp installed less than 4 yrs ago already had a freon line leak bc the line was rubbing against another line. Cost to repair a unit they installed less than 4 yrs ago is ~$3,200.
NO MISCOMMUNICATION or MISUNDERSTANDING. It was poorly installed using an old liquids return line. The line rubbed against the other line going and coming from the outside unit. After 4 yrs, it cracked the line. Regrigerant leaked and cost me $3,200. END OF STORY.
