- LOLinda OilerAug 18, 20261.0I purchased a whole home Generac in Sept 2026 for around $13,000. It has never worked properly. The installers have been out multiple times but have not been able to get it right, at least 5 times now. They even told me it was installed improperly to begin with and switched some things around. They were supposed to come on Aug. 12 and did not show up. I got a call to reschedule. At this point it has been almost a year with the Generac only having actually run through a power outage 1 time. I am seriously considering contacting a lawyer.

Someone was at my house on Monday despite how busy they were with the storms, with a follow up today from a tech to confirm the issue and work directly with Generac for resolution. Totally sucks that the particular unit installed has serious issues out the gate, however I understand this is no fault of A+. Thank you for the prompt attention and resolution. ——————————————————————- This review is specific to the customer service after installation. We had a Generac installed on 7/14/2026, the entire process was fantastic. Until now, 8/15/2026. Power is out. Generac is dead. And I’m told that it’ll be $500 emergency call fee to get someone to look at a month old installation that has less than 12 hours on it. This is RIDICULOUS. I was so impressed with everything A+ had to offer until now when it truly matters. The whole point of the large purchase was so I wouldn’t be sitting here stranded without power, hoping it doesn’t last long enough that my freezer of meat spoils.
