  Dauenhauer Plumbing is amazing! We needed a plumber on a Saturday 😳 & when I asked about their weekend rate they explained there is no additional charge for weekends. They charge the same for a Saturday as they do for a Tuesday. They were prompt & very professional. I would recommend them without reservation! Excellent service & fair prices. Thank you!!

  It’s late Friday night and I find a big water leak of the pipe going into house I dig it up then realize it’s out of my league and call around to get some immediate help nothing from the first 3 I called told me it would be Saturday or Monday called daunhauer plumbing and said they would be there in 35 to 45 minutes and they were the sent Joshua and his great attitude of getting this done tonight for us and he did. We will not forget them for this 5 stars from me and of if I could give more stars to Joshua I would Thanks mike Carey

  Andrew came a saved us from what I can only assume would have been a horrible evening. Sewage was backing up into our laundry room and he arrived close to 9:30 pm to fix our issue. Myself, my husband, and my floors are eternally greatful!

  They will continue to get all my electric and plumbing business! Jeremy and Seth were absolutely incredible 😊. Knowledgeable, hard working, very kind and respectful, and made a really bad situation much better and easier to deal with. They don't view you as just a number or just a work order, but view you as an actual person with a real world problem that needs assistance and a smile to get through it. That's exactly how we should all be treating one another, and looking out for one another. I will always be very grateful for the kindness and all the energy and hard work these two men, as well as their supervisors too, they put in to help this recently widowed solo Momma to 3, get back on her feet after a storm damage created a mess! Very appreciative to all of you for getting us back up and running smoothly. It hasn't gone unnoticed, and I'll continue to send everyone I know there for their plumbing, electric, HVAC, whatever services they may need that you offer. Thank you again!!!

  My wife and I used Dauenhauer Plumbing because they installed all of the plumbing when we built our home in East Louisville. We assumed that they knew how they installed the plumbing and thus they were in the best position to fix plumbing issues. We had two very bad experiences with them. The first occurred when our sewer lines were backing up into our home. They did a service call and determined the sewer line from our home to the street had collapsed. When they dug up the sewer line, there were multiple very large boulders they had dumped on the sewer line when they installed it, and the boulders had collapsed the sewer line. This occurred during the summer of 2025 and they not only charged us for fixing the problem they created but they also destroyed our landscaping. The second occurred this past winter of 2026 when a daylight drain in our basement was backing up into our basement. They sent 2 different technicians to evaluate the problem and neither one could determine the cause, and they charged us for the service call without solving the problem. We called another plumber who determined the problem and fixed it in one service call. I called Dauenhauer plumbing in February 2026 requesting refunds for both occurrences, and I provided a copy of the invoice from the other plumber who fixed the daylight drain problem. I was told they would get back with me, and I have not heard from them. I contacted them again in March of 2026 and they didn't have the decency to reply to me. I would avoid Dauenhauer Plumbing at all costs. They are unethical and apparently lack the skills to perform plumbing work accurately.
