  I brought in my pool motor, which I originally purchased at A1 several years ago, to have A1 replace the replace the motor and transfer the impeller and cord to the new motor/pump. I figured I would enIist their services early before they busy with other people wanting pool pumps repaired or replaced. I called several times inquiring about the status of the work. They had trouble even finding the motor. They gave me several target dates for completion. After three works, I stopped by to check and hopefully pick up the completed motor. Not done. The new motor came in but was mistakenly used on a different job. After more calls and promises, I stop by again. Still not completed. I ask for the old motor/pump back. They gave me a box with the old motor/pump in pieces. They had my motor/pump for 5 weeks. No apolgies or explanations. Very frustrating experience.

  My blower for my wood stove died right in the middle of the coldest time in January. A-1 had an exact replacement in stock that was reasonably priced. Great customer service, too.

  Friendly guys at the service desk. They had the blower wheel I needed in stock and waiting. Happy to confirm the part was correct and in stock on the phone. Enabled me to get our furnace back online in short order on a very cold day. Came recommended by a friend that has his own residential HVAC business.
