I called to get some more. They didn’t call me back, and I called and the guy said he was checking around. Nothing! They were supposed to come and trim the gate they installed last year, never heard a word, so I have to get somebody else. Not a good start in my opinion!

- DHDeborah HibbardJul 30, 20232.0We've contracted with them for 3 fences over the last 25 years. The first two were wood privacy fences and they did a fantastic job both times. The last was a chain link fence along the back end of our property. It was a barely adequate job. When they first came out, they put the posts in the wrong place. Thankfully the concrete had not set so my husband and I took them out. When they came back, they did not put them in a straight line along the back of the property so the fence looks crooked and not well-aligned. A small redbud tree had come down in a windstorm just before they started work and they cut away a branch that would interfere with their work but left it hanging over the fence on my neighbor's side. They also had to cut back a honeysuckle bush and left all that for us to cart away. Finally, they left their trash in our yard. A concrete bucket, some wrappers, etc. Just very unprofessional overall. I just wanted the fence up so didn't say anything at the time but the more I've thought about it, the madder I've gotten. I understand that a change in ownership is in the works which is a shame because Ellis was always so great to deal with. Won't be using them again.
