  I strongly recommend that anyone considering Mr. Roof carefully document exactly what is included in the proposed scope, every representation made, and the completed work before making final payment. My experience has been extraordinarily frustrating. Our project involved a $10,200 charge. After significant problems with the project, Mr. Roof proposed waiving $5,100 of that amount and characterized doing so as going “above and beyond.” The problem is that Mr. Roof has maintained that it fulfilled its contractual obligations while failing to provide the documentation I specifically requested to substantiate whether all of the contracted work was actually completed. And then I had someone get on the roof. At the recommendation of my insurance adjuster, an independent third party accessed the roof and photographed the completed work at close range. I am posting some of those photographs with this review so prospective customers can look at the work and draw their own conclusions. This was not the only problem. There was an approximately two-month delay involving the chimney cap. During that time, the unresolved chimney was not adequately protected and we experienced additional water intrusion. Mr. Roof later acknowledged that temporary protection should have been offered. When the chimney cap was finally installed, it was the wrong color. Mr. Roof also made additional commitments in response to the problems and delays, including repair of affected insulation and drywall. Those promised repairs were not completed. That has been the most exhausting part of this experience: a problem would occur, a commitment would be made to address it, communication and follow-through would fail, and I would be left dealing with the original problem or another one. I have spent months chasing answers, documenting problems, following up on commitments, dealing with additional water intrusion, and ultimately having the completed work independently photographed because I no longer had confidence in what I was being told. Mr. Roof says it fulfilled the contract. I asked it to substantiate that position. The requested documentation was not provided. I have now demanded the return of the $5,100 already paid and cancellation of the remaining $5,100 balance. For anyone considering this company, my advice is simple: get everything in writing, photograph everything, verify that every contracted item was actually completed, and do not assume that a promised correction or accommodation has occurred until you personally confirm it. The photographs attached to this review are of the work left at my home. They are ultimately more useful than anything I could say about the quality of my experience.

  High pressure sales people came to my door and tried to get my elderly mother to give them my phone number. If this is a legit company they should send their people out with more than a Mr. Roof shirt. There are so many roofing scams.

  We are very satisfied with our experience with Mr. Roof and the finished results of our exterior home makeover. Our project included a new roof, James Hardie siding, stonework, soffits, and gutters, and the quality of the completed work was excellent. Gary, our salesman, was great to work with from start to finish. He was extremely patient with our many questions, knowledgeable about the different options, and provided great follow-up throughout the project. We also felt the pricing was very competitive for the scope and quality of the work. One of the things we especially appreciated was being able to have all of the different aspects of the exterior renovation handled through one company with an overall project manager coordinating everything. It made a large, multi-part project much easier to manage. We did have a few scheduling hiccups along the way, but we were able to work through them, and the team made sure everything came together in the end. Our home looks completely transformed, and we are very pleased with the quality of the work and the final result. We would definitely recommend Mr. Roof and especially Gary to anyone considering an exterior renovation.

  Mr. Roof did a fabulous job on our roof. The clean up afterward was as if they had never been at here. A big thumbs up to their professionalism. I wish to Thank Everyone involved with this project. Thanks also for removing my chimney and antennae.

  From David the project consultant to Chris the crew project Manager they both made sure to answer all my questions and made sure I was good with my roof color selection and that everything was completed to my satisfaction. They were on time and professional with their customer service! I can’t wait to get my siding done. I would recommend this company for their professional and warranty on their work.
