  John showed promptly and was able to install a new ceiling fan/light in under 45 minutes. He even took disposed of the trash for me. Quick and amazing service!

  John showed up very promptly. He installed a new ceiling fan fixture in under an hour. He even disposed of the old fan and trash. Amazing and quick service!

  Completely unprofessional and frustrating experience. I contacted this company because I was having issues with my circuit breaker and wanted a quote to resolve the problem. From the beginning, the experience was frustrating. When I initially called, the office could not tell me how much the estimate would cost. I was told the technician would determine the price when he arrived at my home. This was the first red flag. On 8/7, the technician came to my house and told me the estimate would cost $225. I agreed and paid for the assessment. After looking at the issue, he gave me three different options ranging from approximately $6,000 to $14,000. He explained that the final price depended on the location of my underground service point and that they would need to contact LG&E to determine its location. I was told this would take approximately two business days. After an entire week with no update, I called the company. The office told me someone would call me back. Another few days went by with no response, so I had to call again. This was the second major red flag. Eventually, the technician called me back and told me they were still waiting on LG&E to provide the location of the service point. He then immediately hung up without providing any additional information or attempting to help resolve the situation. This was the third red flag. I ultimately decided to contact LG&E myself. LG&E was able to provide me with the location of my service point the very next day. At that point, I couldn't help but wonder how long Mr. Sparky expected me to wait for them to do something I was able to accomplish myself with one phone call. I paid $225 for an estimate and expected basic communication and follow-through. Instead, I repeatedly had to chase the company for updates and ultimately had to do the legwork myself. I would not recommend this company based on my experience. Update: After posting this review, Mr. Sparky reached out to me directly. They apologized for my experience and offered to refund the $225 estimate fee without asking me to remove this review. I appreciate them taking the initiative to reach out and make things right. While my original experience was frustrating, I want to give them credit for how they handled my complaint afterward.
