  Responded promptly and arrived when they said they would, unlike a competitor who didn't call or show. Thank you for that. Thought they were pricey but don't have anyone else to compare to. Suggestion, get rid of the Ai reception as you have to repeat what you just told it to a live person and just add those wages to them. Good job

  Our apartment company call for service an to my surprise they came out within hours of calling now I understand that this maybe not all the time but this was the first time they were call an they were jolly on the spot.an the service guy was very respectful an caring of out home veey nice attitude just so different from other service guys I've mean this work his butt off to repair this very old apartment place it's very nice place but it's a very old building so my hat off to him I just wish I knew his name great person im so glad they change Plumbing company like this one way better.An please know I'm not a robot real an honest review

  On 5/17/2026 I had Dauenhauer Plumbing come to my home to unclog my main drain, which the clean out is inside my finished basement. they were able to complete this job, with what seemed to be no issue. on 8/16/2026 at 1839 i had another main line drain clog so I called them back out. the plumber came and put a camera down my drain and he found that there was a pipe clean out cap lodged in my pipe about 5 feet deep into my pipe. he spent a few hours trying to get it removed but he failed to remove it. he left around 2430 and told me that they would have to come that following day (Monday) So plumbers arrive to my house at 1400 and are there until about 1730. Pulling pictures from the first invoice dated 5/17/2026 shows multiple things on my floor and you can clearly see the same red clean out cap on the ground. its in multiple pictures, the same red cap that was lodge into my drain. which i have pictures of that cap being stuck in the drain, i took those while the plumber had a camera in the drain I spoke to the manager named Brain (extremely rude and condescending) about this and even though they admited it was their fault Multiple times they are not willing to work with me

  In the past 2 months Dauenhauer has installed a new hot water heater and took care of a sewer backup in my basement. Norris and Jacob did a great job. But, Jacob promised me a quote for a sump pump and never sent it. I called 4 times and spoke to 4 different people who all assured me they would get in touch with either Jacob or the dispatcher to get me the quote and so far still no quote. Lowered my review from 5 to 2. I've never worked so hard to try to give a business another job. When I scheduled the sewer backup and hot water heater job I did it through their Ai assistant and I guess that system is pretty efficient, but honestly I'm regretting getting the hot water heater through Dauenhauer because when you speak to an actual person it doesn't look like anything gets done. If we ever have issues with the water heater will they be there to help?

  Dauenhauer is really good with plumbing. They have replaced my water heater and sump pump, two separate calls. They were prompt, friendly, and reasonable. I called about the sump pump and they sent someone out at 11pm same day to replace it. I do not recommend Dauenhauer for HVAC work. Avoid them. My AC went out sometime 2022, and I had them replace the whole system. Outside unit, copper lines, inside unit coils, the heating part of it, all of it. I had moved in a couple years before and I did not want to worry about the AC for a long time. I'll give them credit, the heating has worked fine. The cooling aspect has not. By the time spring 2023 rolled around, I turned on the AC and it did not cool. The system was entirely empty. They sent someone out in April and filled it up. He claimed sometimes new systems are filled a little low. Queue headache. A month later it's not cooling again. Over two weeks they came out 6 times? Some of those times were repeat technicians, with technicians giving different diagnosis on what the problem was. From what I remember pattern was technician came out, claimed previous tech was incorrect and problem was not x buy y, they could not fix it that trip, and would send someone out in a few days. This repeated for two weeks. I increased my inside temp to 75, and over the course of 2023,24, and 25 I slowly noticed the AC was running more and more without cooling efficiently. Eventually it was running constantly. I try lowering the inside temperature and it will not go lower. 2025 I call them up, they send someone out. I think this is where they dye the system, and they could not find anything that trip. Fast forward to March 2026, they come out 2 times since the AC did not run much and the dye did not work its way through the system. The second time they said they did not see any visual leaks from the dye. Two months later, May, guess what? It's not cooling effectively again. They send someone out, fill up the system, and says he can't find any leaks. Fast forward two more months, its not cooling effectively again. I think every time they send someone out, they have had to fill up the AC system because it is low on coolant. There is a leak somewhere. They can't find it. And they are not attempting any remedy other than coming out, filling it back up, and shrugging their shoulders. This has been going on since they installed the system 4 years ago. This has been noticeably affecting my electric bill. UPDATE: They finally found the issue. And they want to charge $1800 to fix it. This has been a problem since they installed the system. Dauenhauer will not stand by what they install.
