  Went in Monday morning and found our water heater was leaking called dauenhauer and they sent someone shortly after the technician went and got the water heater and when he returned he wanted to show me that the water heater was damaged and said he was going to go get another one came back it was after 5:00 when he finished he was very courteous and professional will use them again

  Called Dauenhauer as a new customer to do a very simple job: replace an anode (which I had new and ready to go) and flush the tank on a relatively new gas Lochinvar water heater. Zero parts cost, maybe an hour of labor involved in total (most of which involves waiting for water to drain). The quote I received was nothing short of ridiculous and exceeded even my wildest expectations: $815. Needless to say I declined any and all services. I've no idea how in the world these prices are justified for some of the simplest and most common plumbing tasks that exist. Five stars for the technicians and their professionalism, and for the scheduling component. One star for price/value. Two stars overall. UPDATE 8/31/26: I received a call from Dauenhauer and was explained the quote I was given was an error and the correct quote was about half that amount. So I'd like to give credit to them for setting the record straight. Admitting an error is never easy but this is the mark of good business practices, so thank you, Dauenhauer.

  I returned home at 6:30 pm to find that my house was very warm and my A/C was not working. I called Dauenhauer immediately and by 8:00 pm, a technician arrived. He quickly assessed the issue with a part for the outside compressor, replaced it with a new part and by 8:30 pm that same day, the A/C was up and running and my house was getting cooled!

  Our AC unit quit working and I called around to several places to see who might be able to come out quickly to look at it. I honestly chose Dauenhauer because they actually had a real person (who was also very friendly and helpful) answer the phone and they were able to send a tech out same day. Our Technician, Austin Hunt, was very friendly and knowledgeable and also managed to fix our unit that day. I really appreciate him taking the time to explain what he was doing as he was fixing it and helped us sign up for the VIP program, which was a great suggestion for us. Would definitely recommend working with this company.

  I would highly recommend Dauenhauer electricians, Tim Dishman & Matthew King for their thorough & excellent professional service. My bedroom electrical circuit suddenly stopped working after plugging in my vacuum, but the breaker didn’t trip. Tim & Matthew methodically did troubleshooting of the bedroom’s outlets & switches. They determined that the closet light switch caused the problem. Behind the switch cover plate, they showed me that one electrical cap was almost completely melted from extreme heat & another cap had burn marks. They quickly repaired the damage. I’m so grateful to them for finding & fixing this potential fire hazard!
