I recently did a DIY install of a system designed by Mann Solar (12 Canadian Solar 705w panels with TS4 optimizers and EI inverter) at my home in the Lexington area. Nathan and team were great to work with and were very helpful and patient with the DIY questions I had. The system is fully functional and working well. I would definitely recommend.

Mann Solar installed my solar panels and would like to give Jaime and his helper a 5 stars rating. Both men very hard workers with quality install and professional in every way. Thank you Mann Solar for sending these men.

I highly recommend Mann solar! I needed some help troubleshooting my DIY offgrid solar system. I called Nathan at Mann solar to have somebody come out and see where I was going wrong. He was more than willing to come out and trouble shoot but i knew I was close to getting it up and running. We texted back and forth over a couple days he was prompt and very knowledgeable he answered anytime I called. He helped me get a better understanding of my system and I didn’t even hire this man he’s just that guy! I will definitely be using Mann solar for all my solar needs in the future! Thanks again Nathan!

At the end of June 2022 we signed contracts with Mann Solar and Sunlight Financial for us to have solar panels installed on the roof of our house and have it financed via a home improvement loan. They told us they would take care of all of the paperwork, including permitting, on their end. On 07/26, 07/27, 07/29-08/03 the solar panel installers came to our house to install the panels, except for 07/31 & 08/02 when they scheduled to come but did not show. On 08/11 the electrician came to our house to install the electrical panels that the solar panels and Salt River will connect to but could not finish his work because they did not finish running the lines. We contacted Mann Solar about this twice. An installer came in the middle of September to finish the install and found some work was not done correctly when the panels were installed and that one of the panels was significantly scratched and needed replacement. After submitting complaints to Sunlight on 10/06 & 10/13 an installer came back and partially fixed some of the work but did not bring a replacement solar panel with him nor did he fix the other panels that were not hooked up properly. We contacted them several times and on 10/25 we texted Adam at Mann Solar and said to either fix the install or take the whole system out of our house. On 10/29 installers came and finished everything, or so we thought. 11/10 saw them coming back out to fix the system again and the inspector decided to show up as well because he knew how much trouble we had been having. The inspector to the Mann Solar people they could not do what they were doing without a licensed electrician present and they left in a hurry. On 11/18, they came out with a licensed electrician and finished everything. The city inspector came back out on 11/23 to do the formal inspection and it failed. A subcontracted electrician came out 11/30 and fixed everything. The city inspector came out 12/7, after waiting for Mann Solar to email him structural plans saying the roof could support the weight of the panels. The electric company came out 12/9 to connect the solar system to the grid. Mann Solar texted us 12/12 to see if we had taken down the complaint with the BBB about them. We texted them wanting to know when they were sending someone out to patch the drywall they cut a big hole in under the breaker box. They texted us back saying they didn’t know the inspection happened (which we think is a lie) and said they could get someone out the next week. Someone came out 1/12/23 to fix the drywall. They were supposed to put a door or some sort of access point for future electricians to access a joint with wires and they put the worst looking piece of scrap they could find. The drywall also looks it was not done properly because there is a nice crease going all the way around the piece that was cut out. The piece they put on so there is access to the LB joint looks like absolute garbage. We are just glad we don't have to deal with them, six months is too long to interact with this company.

This entire experience has been a trainwreck from the moment their subcontractor stepped on my property. The train is still out of contol and the bridge is out→_→12/12/22. ಠ︵ಠ 2022/11/03: Scheduled Electrician no-show, call call. From no one.
