  Great initial contact with Kyle. Their day was booked already but Kyle did get a service tech out midday. After listening to my concern about my sump pump, Josh thoroughly assessed the situation and concluded all was fine. Only assessed for the service call which I felt was fine for an timely (expected rain) same day check. Thankful all is well with the sump pump. Have also used Back-up Plumbing for hot water heater replacement, fortunately before their warranties were up. Very pleased with their service. Highly recommend!

  Backup Plumbing completed a water heater conversion from electric to gas, install a sleeve for a new LG&E's gas service and coordinate the work with LG&E. They were always on time and professional. They quoted a great price and completed all the work as described without any extras.

  Andrew, Kyle, Clay and the rest of the Backup Plumbing team are top notch. Very responsive, knowledgeable and thoughtful in the way they approach every job. They take the time to explain what's going on and always suggest cost-effective solutions rather than pushing the most expensive fix. Just all around great guys and absolute rockstars at what they do. Highly recommend.

  Josh was polite, professional and detailed. He resolved the current issue and advised me and the condo board member Carolyn Foster to have a mitigation company assess any ensuing potential mold issues from the water under the bathroom flooring. I appreciated Josh's thoroughness in making sure that the immediate problem was resolved. As I indicated to Josh when he arrived, I had removed the hose and placed a weather glove over the faucet before winter weather. I reported to the condo board in January that the line was freezing and would eventually burst if not attended to. They opted to do nothing, so Josh was required to make repairs today.

  About a month ago I called Backup Plumbing to get a quote on a sump pump and hosebib replacement. I was able to quickly get on the team’s schedule the same week. The team was very communicative and sent text and call reminders for the appointment. Josh A was the journeyman who showed up and immediately set to work inspecting the sump pump. It was about 10 years old and had been running way too frequently. He immediately knew something was wrong and set to cracking open the pit (sealed for radon mitigation) which was a pain in the butt. He walked me through everything, showing me the running water in the pit and discussing various tiers of replacement such as a battery backup. He then took a look at the hosebib and warned me in advance he’d have to cut drywall for access if I decided to replace it. Kyle talked me through pricing and told me Josh would be able to get everything done same day. This was a Friday so naturally I was surprised. After learning about their Service Plan, which for $12/mo gives you 12% off services on top of other benefits, I immediately said yes. Josh was even able to squeeze in my free water heater flush for the plan. Josh was great. He was very professional, always wearing covers on his shoes, mindful of my family during the time they were home, and he let me know how everything was going the entire time. When he left, he walked me through the repairs and was on his way. One month later, the new pump with the quiet discharge connection works great and sounds healthy and the hose bib has been in use watering our gardens as the weather gets warmer. All in all, I would recommend Backup Plumbing for any plumbing needs, inside and outside the home. I look forward to working with the team again in the future.
