  I paid $845 for diagnostic and 2 lbs of R-22 ($360/lb). Google said the price per pound is usually $90-250 a lb. I feel like I have been ripped off. They also no showed, no called for my original appointment that was scheduled between 8-10am. I waited until 10:30 and then called and cancelled my appointment because I had somewhere to be. The owner called me immediately after I cancelled my appointment and explained, apologized, and rescheduled for a later time that was convenient for me, which I appreciated, but the price seems outrageous! And a lot of places waive the diagnostic fee if you have work done. They did not.

  Colby and Liam did a great job installing our new HVAC system. They were on time, and worked very hard all day. They were not on their phones, wasted no time. They explained everything to me, went over the new filter and new thermostat.

  What can I say? AC went out (dead and needed replace) on a Thursday night. My existing HVAC group was scheduling installs multiple weeks out and while they did provide me with a portable unit…. I wasn’t going to be able to last multiple weeks. I called Howe, spoke with Amanda who was able to get me a consultation with Kyle that afternoon. He came out with at the scheduled time, answered my questions and gave me several options to choose from. I agreed to a full replacement of furnace and AC that afternoon. Financing was a snap. They emailed me on Saturday with an install date that Monday. Colby and his crew arrived around 8:30 and were done before 2pm. They were professional, courteous, and made sure to walk me through everything before they left. I can’t say enough great things about Howe. They have been fantastic. Highly recommend!!!!!!

  This is my 1st experience with Howe and I can honestly say I am grateful I called . They have a new appreciative customer. They did a thorough examination of out HVAC problem and then provided a realistic and cost efficient solution. The 2 techs who were dispatched (Colby & Liam) worked diligently and super neat.

  Our HVAC system is fourteen years old. Over the past two months we've had it serviced three times because the evaporator coils keep freezing. I wanted to use a local, small HVAC company. After searching for about a day, I found Howe Heating and Cooling. Their online reviews were good, they got me scheduled for the following day. Jared arrived ahead of my scheduled window (I got a text notifying me that he was enroute). Jared is extremely knowledgeable and detail-oriented. He gave me several options for both short term and replacement solutions, all during a tornado warning. I couldn't be happier to have found Howe Heating and Cooling. We decided to replace the entire system rather than continue to patch our aged system. We're scheduled for Friday. In less than 96 hours our old system was evaluated, and the new one will be installed. That's great service! UPDATE: 18-AUG-26 Colby and Liam arrived as scheduled. They were both very polite and professional. They removed the old system and installed the new one, taking extreme care when maneuvering narrow spaces. They set up the wifi thermostat, explained to me how to operate it via wifi and manually, tested both the furnace and the ac, they even showed me how to change the furnace filter and provided recommendations for purchasing replacement filters. We are extremely happy we chose Howe Heating and Cooling for this job. They're who I'll call for any maintenance or service needs in the future. Howe Heating and Cooling is an excellent organization.
