  Spoke with Don, the Owner, on a brief call discussing the installation of a Single Zone Mitsubishi Mini Split (non hyper heat). Don was a poor listener and ballparked objectively predatory pricing. $8-9k turn key pricing for a piece of hardware that would cost the consumer $1800 is outrageous and I will also be leaving a review with Mitsubishi, since A&B is a Dimond Distributor. Don was then quick to end the call and hung up without discussing the pricing further. This is a poor interaction in an overwhelmingly predatory market space, and Don and A&B should be ashamed if they are selling a straight forward Mini Split Installation for $9k. People, please do your research and also engage a different Mitsubishi installer first before resorting to A&B. edit: Everyone, please set aside that the A&B team is trying to justify a $7k labor expense for a 1-day job, and realize that they will not and have not addressed Don's combative and disrespectful handling of a proactive sales call.

They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and completed the job efficiently without sacrificing quality. It is evident that they take great pride in their workmanship and genuinely care about their customers. For over 40 years I have used A & B and I have got to know Don. I can ultimately say that they do amazing work. The level of service I received exceeded my expectations, and I was impressed by their honesty, attention to detail, and fair pricing. It's refreshing to work with a company that values integrity and stands behind its work. I highly recommend A & B Heating & Air Conditioning to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality HVAC services.
