  The annual inspection on my home heating system was performed as part of a membership package that costs $360 annually. The technician Daniel P. was friendly and professional and arrived on time. The process took about a half hour.

  John was very thorough and kept me informed of what he was testing and why. He answered my questions and made sure I understood . Friendly and kept working. This visit was part of my service plan and at no charge.

  I received an outlandish unnecessary quote for a full lateral sewer line replacement after a technician failed to complete the first step in the process correctly. Although everyone was pleasant and polite it does not make up for the unprofessional service I received.

  Justus was very thorough going through our house and checking our water systems. He was able to educate us on water pressure, water heater and what we can do to get ready for the winter season. We recently moved into a new home and he was very informative about the benefits of adding a soft water systems.

  We called because our AC was not cooling. The outdoor unit was humming, and the fan was trying to spin but was not actually running. We were quoted more than $2,000 just to get the system operational enough for the company to perform additional diagnostics. That was not presented as the complete repair cost. What made that quote especially difficult to understand was that, during the visit, we were also told exactly which parts were needed, where they could be purchased, and that the parts themselves would cost roughly $200 total. While we were reviewing the company’s pricing on the tablet, a message from management appeared on the screen saying that he “bet” he could talk us into buying an entirely new unit. At that point, we lost confidence in the company’s process. I understand that HVAC companies have labor costs, overhead, warranties, and pricing policies, and I understand that professional service costs more than the price of parts alone. But being quoted more than $2,000 simply to get the system running well enough for further diagnostics, while the identified parts were approximately $200 and management was simultaneously discussing selling us an entirely new system, made the experience feel far more sales-driven than service-driven. We declined the work and will be getting an independent second opinion.
