  Very happy with Black Gold. Blake was a pleasure to work with and the crew did a great job! Very prompt on getting the initial estimate and worked me in to their busy schedule quickly. Would highly recommend.

  Absolutely horrible experience. Built a new home and they installed a gas fireplace and were contracted to do all of the insulation. The guy installing the fireplace totally screwed up the brains of the unit because he had no idea what he was doing. and it all had to be replaced. Then after receiving weekly updates to the construction schedule, they called the day before they were to start spraying, and said they were just too busy to get to me. They werent saying they would be late....they just said they decided to skip my job completely. This put all of my other contractors in a bind, and forced me to pay dearly for a last minute replacement. Totally unprofessional, and when I called the owner he just acknowledged this was "the world we live in now" . I used them on a commercial application a few years before, so it's not like they didn't know me. But they just didn't care. Don't waste your time....find someone reliable.

  They are running several months behind. They did come out and give a quote quickly. The quote was fair. We hope to have them do the work.

  Ugh... Wish I could give Black Gold Insulation a good review, but two days of no call / no showing has me frustrated. Yesterday was a given since it was raining, but I should have been called today - or so I thought... When I called them I found out that they took us off the calendar completely in lieu of other jobs. They certainly should have called about that within a few hours of that decision being made... last week. At least they haven't taken any of our money yet.
