  We chose Big Bob’s to replace a large amount of flooring in our new home, primarily due to their reasonable quote, however we were extremely unhappy with the results of the new hardwood installed by the contractors. The pictures speak for themselves as the quality of the install was messy, careless, and lacked detail. At many spots where the floor met the various bedroom door moldings, as well as all areas around the top stairwell pillars, there was cracking, unevenness, wood defects, excess staining, and even nails sticking out of the floor. When we notified our sales contact, Mike Elyachar, he initially didn’t respond to us, so we eventually got him on the phone. He had an apathetic attitude and didn’t seem concerned that we were unhappy. He eventually got us scheduled to have someone fix some of the issues but not all were addressed fully. We will not be using this company again and want to warn others before they spend their hard-earned money with Big Bob’s.

  Big Bob’s saved the day for our family! We had a very short timeline because we had to be ready to show the house and they crushed it!! Highly recommend.

  The price was right and the crew that installed was punctual, quick, and did a great job. I think they over ordered materials needed because I have several unopened boxes of product they left. I am a little surprised I haven't gotten a follow up call, just a text asking for a review here. If it wasn't for that I would give five stars for ease of scheduling appointment and how quick I was able to purchase and have installed. The follow up when the job is completed really didn't happen. I'm glad there was nothing wrong and the installation was smooth.

  We recently hired Big Bob's Flooring to refinish approximately 1,500 square feet of oak flooring on our main floor and install about 1,600 square feet of LVP in our basement. The finished product is excellent. Both the hardwood refinishing crew and the LVP installation crew were professional, skilled, punctual, and easy to work with. The quality of the flooring work itself is exactly what we hoped for. Unfortunately, the project management and communication side of the experience was much less positive. One reason we chose Big Bob's was because we were told the installers were long-term Big Bob's employees. In reality, both portions of our project were performed by contractors. The contractors did excellent work, but it was not what we were told during the sales process. We were also told we needed to be out of the house during the hardwood refinishing because of noise and fumes. We rented an Airbnb for ourselves, two cats, and a dog at a cost of over $1,000 plus a pet cleaning fee. After speaking with the refinishing crew, we learned that many customers simply isolate to another floor of the home because the water-based products used today have much less odor than older oil-based finishes. I ended up moving back home after one night because it simply wasn't necessary in our case. The biggest issue involved quarter-round molding. Big Bob's included quarter-round installation in the scope of work, but because our home has painted trim and stained oak cabinets, I supplied and finished all of the molding myself so it would match properly. Big Bob's was aware of this before the project started. When the refinishing crew arrived, they informed me they could not install the oak molding because the tools they brought were intended for MDF and softer materials. Over the next 10 days I had to initiate three separate follow-up calls because nobody from Big Bob's contacted me regarding a resolution. The final outcome was a refund of approximately $261 for the molding installation. While I appreciate the refund, there is no realistic way to hire someone to install 16 twelve-foot sticks of stained oak shoe molding throughout a kitchen, dining room, butler's pantry, and laundry room for that amount. Instead of resolving the issue, the responsibility was effectively shifted back to me. There were also coordination issues between the hardwood and LVP portions of the project. At one point both crews were scheduled to be onsite at the same time, and neither appeared to have much visibility into the other's work. Fortunately, the contractors themselves worked it out. In summary, the craftsmanship was excellent and we are very happy with the finished floors. The reason for the 3-star rating is the communication, coordination, and follow-through. If Big Bob's improved project management and customer communication, this would have been a 5-star experience.

  Do not use their installation team. First team was not good and the Second Gentleman was sent to install new quarter round and did not caulk the quarter round 😳 so now we are left to paint quarter round and caulk for 1600 square foot. Janell was great but for the service, waiting time and price we would go somewhere else if we had to do it again.
