  BEWARE – DO NOT TRUST OSCAR OR HIS COMPANY I usually do not write reviews, but I feel it's time to share my experience. I used Oscar's company for several years, and in the past the work was good. Unfortunately, the quality of work has significantly declined. For my most recent project, I hired Oscar to paint the exterior of my home and repair all of the wood rot. He sent two workers who could not communicate effectively and seemed to have little understanding of the scope of work. They only repaired a few areas and left a substantial amount of wood rot untouched. After discovering the incomplete work, I contacted Oscar multiple times by text message, but I never received a response. The lack of communication and accountability was extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Oscar or his company. The workmanship was poor, the job was left unfinished, and customer service was nonexistent. I would strongly encourage others to consider other contractors before hiring this company. I read Oscar's response, and honestly, it says everything people need to know. Oscar claims he was only hired to repair "some" of the wood rot. That makes no sense. When a homeowner hires a contractor to paint the exterior of a house and repair wood rot, the expectation is that all identified wood rot will be repaired, not just a portion of it. Wood rot is wood rot. Instead of acknowledging the problem and offering to come back and complete the work, Oscar chose to make excuses and shift responsibility. A professional contractor would have addressed the concerns, communicated with the customer, and worked toward a solution. The fact remains that significant wood rot was left unrepaired, my messages went unanswered, and the job was not completed to the standard that was promised. I hope others carefully read both my review and Oscar's response before making a hiring decision. In my opinion, his response confirms the concerns I raised. I would not use this company again, and I hope other homeowners do not have the same experience I did.

  It has been a couple of months since we contacted Oscar at 4 Seasons Painting for a bid to remove old wallpaper, three layers of border and paint our living room, hallway and master bathroom. It was a very reasonable bid and we.had then come out right away. Even now as I sit here admiring there work, I am still very happy. The crew did a great job, was very polite and efficient. Oscar was available for any questions during the entire project. I am so glad I did not have to tackle this job myself! A big thank you and I will be calling them for our next project 👍👍
