Very knowledgeable and quick service. My AC unit went out today and same day someone was out to fix it. The tech was very knowledgeable and gave me some options to choose from to get the unit up and running. He also had some recommendations for the future.

We had an outstanding experience with One Hour Heating & Cooling from start to finish.
Our initial AC service tech, Josh, was fantastic—very personable, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, honest. He took the time to explain what was going on and gave us confidence that we were being taken care of.
When it came time to discuss replacement options, Caden was equally impressive. He was honest, never pushy, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand without making us feel overwhelmed or pressured. That kind of transparency means a lot.
The installation team—Travis, Logan, and Kolby—were exceptional. They were friendly, professional, and immediately made us feel comfortable having them in our home. They walked us through the entire process step by step, kept everything clean, and worked efficiently as a true team.
And special shoutout to Kolby, who went above and beyond by heroically eliminating a spider that may or may not have been plotting my demise. 😄
It’s rare to have such a consistently positive experience with every single person you interact with at a company, but One Hour absolutely delivered. Highly recommend!

Sean did a great job during his scheduled maintenance visit. He was thorough and spent the time inside and out checking over our system. This is so different from the company we purchased our system from and there is no turning back. We contacted One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning when we could not get the other out. What a great experience it has been since working with Sean, Kevin and the One Hour team. Thank you all!
We were maintenance customers for over five years but recently decided to switch companies over the way staff handled a huge billing issue.
I noticed we had been double billed for months after changing addresses. I called to resolve the issue and was fed a story about a glitch with the billing company, which turned out to be an additional, separate issue. Rather than own up to the mistake of charging us for two addresses, they blamed it all on the billing glitch which had charged everyone their monthly bill 3 weeks early.
Communication was poor, I was told by one person I would be refunded within the week and then another person told me they would just keep my money and not charge us for the next five months. That was the final straw for me. I had to contact them again and request a refund, it took weeks to get a partial refund and then they were unable to refund the rest because of the billing company. Had they just apologized and even offered to waive the next month’s dues for the inconvenience, we would be happy customers. Instead they’ve lost our business.
UPDATE: I heard from a manager and was very impressed with how professionally he handled the situation. We left feeling like our business was valued and would consider rejoining in the future as we have been happy with the technicians.

Our AC unit went out. We have a 4 month old and a 2 yr old so we reached out in a bit of desperation and almost got GOT — The tech that came out tinkered with the AC unit, the blower, the thermostat and then said, “Your TXV is faulty and needs to be replaced. That’ll be $1,600 and we won’t get the part for another 5-6 days.” TXV’s aren’t some special exclusive part — they’re a commodity — so I looked up the average in KC and, including install, it ranged from $800 to $1,200. Plus, One Hour has zero unique value proposition to differentiate themselves from the competition. On those facts alone, I decided to get a second opinion from a reputable competitor. Come to find out………… My TXV was fine. I was a pound light on refrigerant. Moments later, for a fraction of the price, we had AC again. Tell me… with a part that frequently gets misdiagnosed due to low refrigerant… why wouldn’t they rule out my refrigerant levels before recommending replacing a $1,600 part? Ridiculous. I’m beyond disappointed. Especially when taking into account the unnecessarily harsh reply by the owner to another previous customer (screenshot attached). Completely unprofessional. Since I paid $99 for the “diagnosis”, I want a refund due to the misdiagnosis. Next stop is the BBB and the Attorney General if you can’t make that happen.
