  We wanted a quote on window replacement, planning on checking multiple companies. We caved to the high pressure sales pitch and purchased 5 windows. We were told the installers had advanced training in their specific windows. Very disappointed in the finished work. Caulking is thick and not smooth at all. Found out we way overpaid as well. We would definitely recommend shopping around!

  One of the worst businesses I have ever worked with. Unprofessional, poor workmanship, communication is awful and the project has been awful. I do not recommend.

  First 5-star review was upon installation of a walk-in shower in October '25. This is my second 5-star review, which is unsolicited. I discovered an unfortunate incident when someone burned a candle in the shower. My guess they needed a little ambiance! I made the call thinking this would probably involve serious money, as I live in a very small village off the beaten path. Unfortunately, I do not have his name but the person I talked with set up an appointment for the next day and it was repaired by a professional and courteous installer, at no charge. Where else can you get this kind of service? Thank you Mad City Bath in Kansas City. D. Robinson

  Corey did a great of putting in my new countertop and hanging new cabinet doors. He was very professional and did a great job! Highly recommend this company if all their installers were as good as Corey.

  UPDATE: Also messed up my kitchen floor. UPDATE 6/12: Left condensation hose to AC detached and caused 1) AC to go out 2) Hose to gush water underneath my kitchen sink. I've spent $1,500 AND COUNTING on plumbing, electrician, and HVAC fixing the trail of destruction Mad City has left in my home. We booked Mad City to remodel our kitchen and install a dish washer in April. I sent a link to one Robert on April 21 to confirm that what I was about to purchase (Mad City does not provide its own appliance...which would avert this occurrence) was appropriate for the job in question. He indicated that it was. They have measurements of our kitchen and details of the appliance. That was April 21. Today June 9, (we waited this long for install) they are now saying they can't install the washer because the hoses don't reach. We are trying to list our home in the next two weeks and we have had to scramble and shell out an additional $1,000 on a plumber. Not so much as a discount from Mad City, nothing. They talk to us like Comcast from South Park, hiding behind the contract. Never again!
