  I used many times in the past. However, I had a dispute with one of their rude office personnel, and they placed me on a DO NOT Service List. My complaint was that they were going to charge me over $500 dollars to drain a water heater, and new water heater was only several hundred dollars more. Further, when I asked how much a new water heater would cost she quoted me almost $2,000 and this was several years ago; I believe it was 5 years ago. When I asked about the price, the office representative, treated me really nasty. At the time, I was using a home warranty and I believe they didn't want to service the home because of it. However, I would have paid for a new water heater out of pocket. I went and used a different company and they treated me so well. I called for a quote or emergency plumbing, I was told that the company and I were not a good fit. I never gave permission to use my name or place my data into a database. As well, I told the representative, Zac, that they should look into who placed me on that list as they could be in error. I told them that I never once stuck them with a bill or didn't pay the bill on time. I believe someone sold the company many years ago, as I used to use it over 10 years ago, but then suddenly everything changed. I believe a young guy inherited the company from his dad and his mother ran the business' office. She was always so pleasant to deal with. However, currently their office staff acts and behaves rudely. As I told Zac, if I find that my data or name was placed on any other list by that company or if my information was stolen or released by whatever means even theft or negligence then I would see them in court.

  Professional, knowledgeable, friendly service. Appointment within 48 hours and excellent communication throughout. Unfortunately service was double what I expected to pay. They provided service as expected and I cannot fault them professionally at all. But I have no desire to use them in the future based in pricing.

  UPDATE REVIEW: I originally left a 1-star review after a frustrating first experience with DeHart Plumbing. However, within two hours, the owner, Lawrence, personally called and texted me wanting to make things right. Lawrence and his technician, Aiden, came out after hours to ensure the shower drain issue was fully taken care of and resolved. Lawrence immediately took ownership of the situation, refunded my diagnostic fee, and made it clear how important it is that his team properly explains pricing, diagnoses issues clearly, and ensures the problem is actually solved. During our conversation, we talked business and entrepreneurship, and I gained a lot of respect for the way he runs his company. Lawrence was very open that DeHart may not always be the cheapest option, but his philosophy is to provide the best service possible and fix issues the right way so customers do not have to keep calling back for the same problem. What stood out most to me was how much he genuinely cares about his employees, their training, and creating a culture where his team takes pride in their work and customer service. As a business owner myself, that means a lot to see. Everyone is human, and what matters is how problems are handled. Lawrence handled this with professionalism, humility, and care. My original 1-star review has absolutely become a 5-star experience. The next time I need plumbing or HVAC work, I will absolutely be calling DeHart again. Thank you, Lawrence, Aiden, and the entire DeHart team. I truly appreciate you making this right, and being the people you are!

  I had the most wonderful experience with Lancelot ponder and his helper Ambrose. They were right on time they were thorough. They were wonderful about explaining every issue that cropped up and the resolution of them. They are polite, extremely knowledgeable, and I will be requesting them next time I call.

  We purchased a full HVAC system from De Hart. After 7 years we had our first issue. DeHart sent a tech out to assess the issue. They repaired the issue quickly and free of charge under our warranty. Kevin Smith did quality work and provided a very high level of customer service. We would recommend De Hart to anyone looking for plumbing and HVAC work. Thanks!!!
